ENJOY THE WESTSOUND HOUSE
I think you would enjoy the vintage waterfront Westsound House vacation rental. It is set about fifty feet from the beach, with a deck across the water side, surrounded by rolling lawns and gardens.
The large living room faces the water with big picture windows, and everything you need for comfort. We like relaxing reading chairs, sofas, a fireplace, house plants, a piano, some games and movies, with a water view.
The kitchen has pretty much everything: Sub-Zero refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, baking tools and cooking things, coffee beans and filters, sometimes herbs in the garden, and all the towels and soaps.
The dining room oak table, overlooking the water, is set for your arrival. The waterfront deck has a patio table and barbecue.
The king size bedroom entices one to sleep in late. It works well for reading or even playing on your computer with our Wi-Fi. The classic armoire and lounge chair blend with the slight magical feel of the room.
The vintage tiled bathroom offers separate tub and shower, skylight and cheery atmosphere. You’ll look good in the mirror.
The clamshell beach is perfect for morning coffee and wildlife watching, with Great Blue Heron, Eagles, otter, seals, clams and starfish. Use the kayaks to observe the sea life along the rocky coastline of our pristine bay. Find the perfect sandy spot to read and watch the tide gently lap higher.
Acres of lawns are great for Frisbee, kite flying, Bocce Ball, ping pong, yoga and naps. Lawn tables and chairs invite puzzles and postcards, picnics and pizza. We might have the croquet set out.
Come for a beautiful experience with nature, bird watching, wildlife, beach and kayaking, Madrona and fir trees. Walk up from the property to Turtleback Mountain 1500 acre preserve for spectacular views across islands, oceans and Olympic Mountains (trail head is next door). Return to the spacious comfort of the Westsound House
The fire pit is waiting for your marshmallow roasting and star gazing, perhaps a shooting star across the Milky Way overhead.
