Our location is ideal!! Not only are we a short walk to the beach but also very close (5 blocks) to the small downtown area where you will find cute shops, restaurants, funky bars, fresh seafood stores and the historic St George Island Lighthouse.
At A BREEZE, enjoy the gulf breezes in the large screen porches, sip coffee in the morning on the open decks while enjoying the gulf views. Swim, relax and enjoy the company of good friends in the large private swimming pool (heated at your request). This home is freshly remodeled and perfect for enjoying your vacation on St. George Island. The layout is open and airy, the furnishings fresh and fun, and the kitchen well-equipped for catching some fresh local seafood and cooking/eating in!
Enjoy the original artwork from local area artists that surround you at A BREEZE. It all adds to the charming tropical feeling you crave on a beach vacation. The four bedrooms provide plenty of space for friends and family. There are balconies off two of the bedrooms. Linens are provided. Newly remodeled. On the very occasional rainy day, gather around the new LCD TV and watch one of the many movies supplied.
A BREEZE not only offers your own pool surrounded by palm trees, but has plenty of parking to bring your own boat. Take advantage of all this water and head out on the bay or gulf for your own fresh catch! New landscaping to this home adds to the comfortable island feel.

First timers to St George Island and loving it! We usually are at Ft. Morgan Island but thanks to the oil and friends we are here. It has been years since we have had a place at the beach with a pool! we are house people so the pool was a bonus. Very nice place, landscaped beautifully too. We have been coming to the Island for years, my mom since she was a child. We enjoyed A Breeze very much. Very nice home and the decorations are too cute. we loved the art especially Mister Crabby! We just returned from a week at A Breeze. We were turned off immediately to see the house was on the main road on the island. We had small children and dogs so this made us very nervous. It would have been nice to know ahead of time and we wouldn't have chosen this house. The pool was fine for the first day of our stay and then it turned green. We called the realty company who sent people out. They threw a bunch of chemicals in the pool and told us to wait several hours.... Many phone calls and our whole vacation passed with a green yucky pool. No one seemed to be in an immediate hurry to fix the problem. We were refunded some of our money but we won't be returning. Also, the toaster doesn't work properly and the ice cream scoop left pieces of coating in our ice cream. There are several screen doors that are broken and over half of the chairs on the screened porch are broken. The house has a nice layout on the inside and it is clean. Sorry for the negative post but we did not have a good experience! :(Recommended for: Pet owners.

The house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Close to the beach, restaurants and shops. The private pool was great, and you can ride bikes everywhere. Loved it!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

About the owner: Although we have lived our whole lives in the midwest United States, we have traveled to many sunny locations around the world. We love SGI for its natural beauty, laid back feel, and friendly people. After our very first visit to the island we were convinced we NEEDED to own a place here...and we are impulsive people! We think SGI is proof that the best vacations are all about a beautiful beach, fresh seafood and and ice cold beverage.
Why the Owner Chose East End:
We love sun and sand and you certainly can find both of these on St. George Island. We love to travel and discover new spots, but once we found SGI, we were hooked. Besides being a beautiful, relatively untouched part of Florida, we have found genuinely kind, friendly people in this area. SGI is truly unique and special to us and we can not wait for the day we can retire and spend EVERY day here!
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Our home is in an excellent location on the island. We are one block from the beach and 5 blocks to the center of the island. Often when we are here we won't drive a car at all! We love to walk and bike, whether it is to the beach, the market, or Eddy Teaches. Also, we love the locals here and have tried to fill our home with art works from local artists of the area. We truly brought the 'best of the area' right inside our beach home.
