Do you want a secluded family vacation spot that is just minutes away from many Branson attractions? The Notch is the place for you! Come and stay at The Notch! This is a great place to spend some time away from the hectic schedules of everyday life.
Unlike many other vacation spots, The Notch is a secluded place to stay deep in the Ozarks where you will feel away from the hustle and bustle of life. This is in the heart of the Ozarks with many attractions that are rare to find anywhere else. Our ground level condo has a fully equipped kitchen complete with dishes, utensils, pots and pans. Our master bedroom features a queen bed with a full private bath and private access to our covered deck. The second bedroom also has a queen bed and matching bunk beds. We have tried to include items to make your stay comfortable and "homey." Our covered deck is large and a great spot for relaxing, eating meals, and looking into the Ozark woods. These Ozarks are open for you to explore on our amazing hiking trails. We also have other attractions to help you relax including:
* Two outdoor pools for you to relax and soak up the sun, while enjoying more of the great Ozark view. One of the pools is larger with an 8 foot deep end, and the other is a smaller pool great for the kids! Both of these pools are close to a shelter house for your convenience.
* We have horseshoe courts and a great play area for the kids.
* We have two picnic areas with BBQ grills at them so you can enjoy your meals outdoors.
There are many exciting things to do while staying at The Notch. The most popular attraction is Silver Dollar City, less than 2 miles away. Even though you will be able to relax in the Ozarks you will only be five minutes from this great attraction. Silver Dollar City is close enough to come back during the day to The Notch, relax, and return to Silver Dollar City. Also nearby is White Water, an awesome water park.
Wanting to be near the water...feel free to bring your boat (we have parking for it) to launch into the lake. There are many marinas within a 15 mile radius. There are also boats and watercraft available for rent. Two beautiful lakes are close by to meet all your boating, fishing, and swimming fun.
Great shopping is nearby as well. There are 2 outlet malls, and a new shopping district called "The Landing." This is filled with great new shops along with places to eat and great sights to see!
Don't forget the Music Shows! Some of the best live music and other theme shows in the nation can be found right here in Branson. There are so many to choose from with top notch entertainment to meet everyone's choices.
Every season presents wonderful opportunities for enjoyment. Of course spring and summer are ideal with lots to do in the outdoors, with the two lakes nearby. The fall brings much color and enjoyment and Silver Dollar City features a wonderful Arts and Crafts festival which is a must see. Christmas time can't be beat!! You will not find any comparable Christmas lights and the Christmas music shows are fantastic. No matter what time of year it is, there is plenty to do and see in Branson.

We have always enjoyed Branson and love going to Silver Dollar City frequently throughout the year. There are excellent shows and so much entertainment for the entire family that we never grow tired of going to Branson. The community is so family friendly, so we decided to have a place to share with our family, friends, and others.

Our property is so convenient to Silver Dollar City that you can go there, come back, and return there for the evening show if you want. We also like the peace and quiet of the property, the beautiful woods, hiking, and swimming pools. You are so close to all major attractions and can be anywhere in Branson in a matter of minutes.

We are Pete and Brenda Cummings and we live in Sturgeon, MO which is just north of Columbia, MO. We are shown here with our family which includes our son George and his wife Rebecca, and grandchildren Ayla and Kenna, our daughter Katie and husband John, and our 2 younger kids, Jacob and Hallie. Family is very important to us and we enjoy our time in Branson together with our family. We love to travel and have decorated the condo with items purchased in the Carribbean. We enjoy people and wish to share our love of Branson with others.
