Beautiful, architecturally designed spacious home, Casa Colibrà is on a very private hillside in the heart of town. Watch the sunrises and moonrises from every room while you relax in this quiet setting. There is Mexican Saltillo tile throughout the house - kitchen, bedroom, bath, living room, and outdoor decks.
Kitchen is large and ready for entertaining, or walk to the restaurant of your choice. The living room has French doors that open onto a wide balcony with a romantic palapa roof, perfect for relaxing and planning the day's activities with 180 degree views of the Sea of Cortez.
The master bedroom is very large with a queen bed and extra futon and a walk-in closet. The upstairs bath has a fully tiled bathtub and shower. This private upstairs suite also has its own deck with views all the way to Punta Pescadero.
The downstairs bedroom is equally well equipped with a queen bed and a futon, so 4 persons can be accommodated in this room. It has it's own bathroom and balcony with direct access to the garden. The lower bedroom is also connected to it's own little kitchenette, so if you don't want to share whatever the upstairs party is cooking, prepare your own meal in the privacy of your apartment space :-)
Wake up with the sun, check the wind and waves, play hard, rinse off in the outdoor shower, pick a few limes or bananas from for your cocktail, and head upstairs to catch the sunset over the majestic Sierra de la Victoria. And don't miss the moonrise! This is a lovely house for enjoying the all best that Baja has to offer.

We stayed there last Christmas and on the contrary, we had a wonderful time! The views were fantastic, the house felt private and quiet. Plenty of room. We could relax on the decks all day and enjoy the view of the town below. And the beds were comfortable! We recommend it!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

If you are looking for the bare essentials this property MIGHT fit the bill. The appliances need to be replaced, the furniture was terrible, not one comfortable chair in the entire house. NO information posted any where to help you, was NOT very clean upon arrival. The best thing it had going for it was the view. A good BBQ would have been nice, since the oven did not work, we were glad we took a crockpot with us. Will not be recommending this property to anyone.
Owner response:We appreciate every comment...good or bad, however it would have been more appreciated if this guest would have contacted our property managers during their stay so they could have helped them with any problems. The fridge was old and has since beend replaced. We brought all the furniture down from the US from IKEA and we find it very comfortable, we certainly feel the house is well enough equipped and furnished whenever we stay there. The oven is hard to light - but again the property mgt. could have helped with that. We find it strange that during all this guest´s stay...a complete month, nothing was ever said to the managers and now, suddenly everything was horrible at the house...I suggest next time you stay at a house you do not like, notify the owners and property management immeditaley upon arrival so they can improve things or find you a property more suited to your needs....but hey, can´t make everyone happy.
