We stayed for 3 nights in late March, 2010. The renovated cottage had everything we needed - including king bed, great kitchen and living room, outside ares to sit, and Dish TV. The bathroom was small, but adequate. If you are thinking of visiting Cedar Key, be ready for a very laid back environment. The locals are genuine and don't try to impress you, although they are friendly. The bars and restaurants are good ($1.50 taps at Cocunuts!), and there are shops and two museums to browse. We had fun renting a golf cart for a few hours ($20), across from the public beach, and drove it all over as we explored the island. It is a quiet, island village - kind of stuck in time. Not much there for kids, so if your kids are easily bored, go elsewhere, but it's a nice retreat for a retired couple (like us), or honeymooners.
Owner response:Kelli: Thank you! Looking forward to your next visit!
