We recently stayed a week (7-2010) in this charming lake house and it was everything the description says and more. Mrs. Wade has thought of everything in equipping this rental home. You can tell it was lovingly decorated. Lots of house space for even a large family. The house was very clean and in good repair and well-maintained. The air conditioner easily provided the cool needed for the hot July summer days. The large yards are just waiting for family fun with a fire ring, picnic table and lake. A picture perfect lake view from most of the windows. Top that off with a quiet safe neighborhood. We were able to avoid the turist trap feel that is so common with rental properties. It was also a short drive to grocery stores, malls, Charleston, the ocean beaches and surrounding attractions. Mrs. Wade was a joy to communicate with both prior to and after the trip. You will have a fantastic vacation if you rent this house. We will never go back to hotel vacations and are looking for a reason to go back to this one soon ourselves. This house would not be convienient for wheel chairs. There are stairs into the rental both front and back doors. Only down side.
