No Stone Left Unturned
I would happily rent again with Italy Perfect. Excellent preparation for the renter prior to arrival. And if you are a first time renter, the amount of detail given makes it very easy...really no stone is left unturned in what you might need to know. Archetto accomodation was exactly as shown. The apartment is in a central location and very walkable...great bed and bathroom. Close to Fontana Trevi but in a quiet street. We never used the kitchen but it is very well stocked. Arrival in Rome by train...taking a taxi to the apartment is best. Termini looks walkable on a map, but is quite a distance. We used Stefano for a very early morning transport to the airport... excellent service and driver.

Great apartmentGuest comment entered by manager
We loved the Archetto apartment, very spacious and right in the center of everything. We walked almost everywhere. Only issue was that it is a little noisy. We were prepared for the noise from the restaurant. However, we weren't prepared for the nearby chiming bells which rang every 15 minutes. Not an issue during the day, but if you are already having a problem getting to sleep, was very bothersome. Earplugs helped some. Probably would be better with windows closed but since it was warm, often had the windows en. Otherwise, was great. Rosie, our greeter, was helpful and instructive. Best advice, is don't overpack. It's a nuisance to drag excess luggage over cobblestones. Looking forward to returning to Italy and would use Italy perfect again. Reply from Italy Perfect: Thank you very much for your kind review. We are so happy you enjoyed your location and stay in Archetto. Your observation about luggage is right-on. First time visitors to Italy are often surprised and delighted by the ancient custom of the ringing of church bells across the cities of Italy that used to be the only “clock” that people had. Sorry it kept you awake, so true, that when you are jet-lagged, sleep can be elusive. The church bells that ring and respond across the city are really difficult to avoid. Running the fan function on the air-conditioner is a good way to create some dampening white noise. We hope you will return soon! Italy Perfect

Fabtastically Fantabulous!Guest comment entered by manager
We just returned from a 25th Wedding Anniversary Tour of London, Paris and Rome. Staying in apartments, rather than hotels, was a decision we were glad we made for this trip. It was a great feeling to be a part of the local neighborhood and experience the culture at the roots of what makes each city unique and different from what we experience at home. London was our silver platter, Paris the cake and Rome the sweet delicious icing. At the very top of it all was the Archetto apartment! Pat and Lisa could not have made it any simpler for us to have such a "fabtastically fantabulous" accomodation for our cultural experience in Rome. Both were always there to promptly answer our questions and help us iron out all the pre-trip details by email and by phone. The only surprises we had were pleasant ones! The first being our ride into the city from Fiumicino with a wonderful gentleman in a very comfortable car. Recommended by Pat & Lisa and now by us. You really must use this transport service provided by Stefano and his drivers! Unless you thrive on dealing with the stress of negotiating taxi, rail or bus transport with all your luggage, use this very reasonably priced service. Our driver was awsome! Very professional and courteous without being stiff and impersonal. He pointed out several sites and locations into the city and even slowed down, a difficult maneuver in Roman traffic, to allow us a few camera shots on the fly. Arrival at the Archetto was another surprise named Rosie. Rosie made our arrival and familiarization with the apartment seamless and stress free! Her explanations of how to use all the amenities, and there were many to be had, were simple and precise. From the terrace to the Juliet balcony we had no difficulties with any of the appliances or features of the apartment including setting our own combination to the safe for our valuables. Rosie was "absotively posilutely" adorable! She even provided a welcome bottle of wine for us to enjoy during our stay. However, with the great central, close-to-everything location, we never got around to opening it. No matter what you want to see and do in Rome, the Archetto apartment is within walking distance of everything! Many shops and restaurants are in the immeadiate area of the Archetto. We found we felt "at home in Rome" at the Archetto in large part to the people, Pat, Lisa, Rosie and Stefano, that we had contact with before, during and at the end of our stay. ion

Great place in Rome
We loved our stay in Rome. The location was so great that walking to just about everywhere was easy to do. A wonderful clean and well equipped space awaited us when we needed a break from the energy of Rome. I would have no issues going back and staying there again.

Now Thats Italian!
Let me preface this review with the admission that I am a wanna be Italian and my stay in the Archetto allowed me to live out this fantasy. The floor plan was spacious yet intimate and freshly decorated with that Italian flair for design. Cool, clean and quiet and as stated in the description, the jewel of the apartment is most definitely the sunny terrace. I awoke early to enjoy my morning coffee and couldn't wait to return at the end of a delightful day of site seeing to partake in our daily "Happy Hour" on the terrace. The location was ideal, being only a block or two away from the lively excitement that is the Trevi Fountain. It's been five weeks and not a day goes by that I don't pine for my Roma apartment. As a sidebar, I left my camera behind, perhaps subconsciously looking for an excuse to return, and both Rosie and especially Lisa back in the us went over and above in ensuring my camera was returned in the most efficent and cost effective manner. I would not hesitate in recommending Italy Perfect and will most definitely stay at other Italy, Paris and London Perfect apartments in the future.

Wonderful - loved the location
The Archetto apartment was wonderful – we absolutely loved the location, could not have picked a better spot – as you know, everything was so close. It was so nice to be able to quickly walk to the Trevi fountain at 6 a.m. To enjoy it without all the summer tourists! Also loved having the little restaurant beneath us, I think we went there nearly every day, if not for a meal, then for a drink or dessert on our way home. The accommodation was very spacious, the sofabed was big, and having a large dining room table was great to spread out maps and computer, etc. My only comment was that there was a little side table in the bedroom that had a leg taped together, so it was not very sturdy. Also, there was a melted ice cream/popsicle treat left in the freezer in the kitchen fridge. So nothing major at all. We appreciated all the instructions from you, and the literature left in the apartment by previous guests, and would not hesitate to rent from your company again.

Exactly as shown and very comfortable
The apartment was exactly as shown and very comfortable. We used both patios and appreciated the air conditioning in the 34 degree Rome weather. We had been to Rome previously and decided to try the heart of the city on this trip. The suite is centrally located and you can walk to everywhere from it. The best Gelato and cappuccino was just around the corner of the Trevi. Beware of restaurants with employees standing outside trying to entice you in, especially the insistent ones. It usually means the food is not good and over priced.

We'll stay again with Italy Perfect when we return
Our stay with Italy Perfect at the Archetto Apartment was wonderful. The apartment exceeded our expectations in every way. The apartment has been remodeled and is even more impressive than the photos we viewed prior to our stay. We especially enjoyed the relaxing spa like showers after long days of sightseeing! The apartment is located ideally for visiting the boundless sites in Rome and is very close to restaurants, shops, and a small grocery store. Overall, we couldn't be happier with the service or the apartment. Also, our local greeter was just terrific and so flexible and patient with our arrival. We'll stay again with Italy Perfect when we return.

Great, very safe, location in the center
Great, very safe, location in the center of all the historic places and just right for fabulous walks, even for two 70+ year olds. Via Corso and Trevi Fountain just two blocks west and north. Very comfortable, roomy, bright apartment on the top floor (with elevator) away from the street noise but close to several colleges so lots of students in the neighborhood. Supermarket is 5 blocks away and is quite small, but adequate for snacks and breakfast things. Don't buy the bottled, bright pink, orange juice but DO buy fresh oranges to squeeze yourself. A treat to have a driver pick up you and your luggage at the airport (~50-60 euro). He will call your greeter for you to meet at the apartment. We were lucky in finding great guides after we entered museums -- or try the autoguides @ 5 euro each. We got our two cell phones (one IPhone, one very old Blackberry) to work in Italy, but did so before we left on the trip. Archetto's shower has a slippery floor. Wonderful musical theater a block away. Favorite Eating: Orso (somewhat difficult to find close to the Tiber, but wonderful appetizers are the meal); Nino's near the Spanish Steps; lunches, at just about any cafe where you can find a seat out of the direct sun, were mostly one shared very thin pizza (never eaten at home) and one shared, but interesting (loaded!) green salad + lots of wine followed by a nap! Fresh fish on Tuesdays or Fridays anywhere -- just look for the fish on ice as you enter a restaurant, and pick out something you've never tried. Plan to enjoy the slow restaurant service and people watching. Don't miss the 5 o'clock service at the Gesu Church, the Roman history museum (our only taxi ride), Via Pilota, Borghese Gallery. Start your day early when the crowds are smaller.

Home Away From Home
Spent time at Archetto apt in April 2013 with hubby and teenage daughter. Wonderful, wonderful location. Close to everything and easy to get around Rome on foot. Comfy bedroom, nice living area and convenient dining area. Great to have washing machine, but wish we had a dryer. However a dry cleaner downstairs and next door. Many wonderful restaurants and plenty of shopping. Restaurant downstairs a little noisey, but because weather was cool in the evenings we were able to keep windows closed. If you are an EXTREMELY light sleeper this might become tiresome. After a few nights we were fine with noise and actually enjoyed hearing all the nightlife downstairs. Would definitely stay again when we find our travel takes us to beautiful Roma!! ItalyPerfect was PERFECT. Recommending to all our family and friends!

Location location location!
The Archetto was very all about the location. We really enjoyed our daily pilgrimage to the Trevi Fountain, and to San Crispino [gelato]- it was literally 2 minutes away! We could hear the church bells from the Pontifical college next door, every hour, which was quite transporting. Rosie and Stefano were most helpful with our arrival and there were no issues with the apartment. It was simple, and the beds were comfortable. Even within the very touristy area, we were able to find a couple of really good restaurants- Tamerici and Il Vineria Chianti, which we enjoyed a lot. And did I mention daily trips to San Crispino?!

This comes from Baltimore, where we are safely home. I want to thank you again for your services in providing the apartment at Archetto and everything that went with it. Despite days of rain, we had a terrific time in Rome, walked our feet sore, ate well, and always felt full of wonder and appreciation for the opportunity. We left aware of all we could not get to and hopeful to return some day.

Archetto is the perfect apartment. Plenty of room, quiet and is in great shape. You can walk most of Rome from the location. Restaurants and shopping is right out the door. We enjoyed the restaurant Abruzzi (out the door turn right one block turn right again) good sea food. Abruzzi is one of Cardinal Doland 's favorites. We used" Walking Tours of Rome" for a couple private tours, they were excellent. This is the second time we have used Italy Perfect and I am sure we will use them again.

Three Coins in a Fountain
The Archetto apartment is perfect for two people. It is very close to the Trevi Fountain and centrally located so you can walk everywhere in Rome. The restaurant downstairs is very good and we ate there a couple of times. We did have trouble getting an internet connection, and after a few tries, Rosie, our greeter was able to finally connect us a couple of days into the week. She did keep trying until she got it to work. Although we didn't have warm enough weather to use the terrace, it was very nice, as well as the balcony. The apartment was very cozy and efficient at the same time. I would recommend this apartment and Italy Perfect to a friend. [We have replaced the internet provider for better connectivity! We had a fantastic stay at the Archetto apartment. It was just as nice as it looks in the photos. Location was amazing!! So thrilled when we arrived to see how central it was to everything. Loved the pasta-pizza place downstairs, good for fairly inexpensive meals. We threw our 3 coins in the Trevi Fountain, hope to return to stay in this apartment again!

The Archetto apartment was everything we had hoped for and more. When the taxi pulled up to the door we were so happy about the location. We walked everywhere. Only caught a taxi once to go to the shopping outlets which were about 30min out of Rome, but worth it. The apartment was beautiful, our greeter was very kind and helpful and marked out our map to show us everything we needed. The restaurant downstairs is very nice and reasonably priced. Being so close to the Trevi Fountain was so much fun for the kids, especially going there early in the morning before anybody else got there. I should also mention Stefano, the driver Italy Perfect recommended. His car service was very professional, friendly and reliable. We would love to return to the Archetto, and would highly recommend Italy Perfect!

We loved the Archetto apartment
We loved the Archetto apartment. It was light and airy and very comfortable. It is clearly 'downtown' Rome and comes with all of the good and not so good that living in downtown means -- noises etc., but we loved it. We walked everywhere (it's important to bring comfortable shoes) and found some excellent restaurants. Pat was very helpful when we couldn't get into the safe (that had our passports!) and Rosie helped with wifi. We would highly recommend the apartment and Italy Perfect.

We arrived in Rome august 15th, in the middle of the hottest summer Italy has had in 50 years. The appartment was wonderful. Unfortunately the air conditioning in the bed room had died. Thankfully the a/c in the main room still worked so we were able to stay cool. We contacted Pat and informed her about the a/c and she called me the next day informing us that as the weekend was coming up it was highly likely that it would not be repaired until the next week. Pat told us that due to this they would like to move us to another appartment if that was ok. We were reluctant as the location of archetto was amazing. We were 2 minutes from some of the best sights in Rome. Due to the heat we agreed, and the new appartment was also wonderful. We cannot recommend Pat and her team enough. She definitely went above and beyond the call of duty. We will definitely be using them again.

The location is wonderful. Near all the "must see" places. Italy Perfect does a good job of making sure that it is comfortable and clean, and that the things you need are available.. Although small, the apartment works well, and we enjoyed our stay. The restaurant owner downstairs is helpful. We found the food there quite good. The best quality food we found at La Sagrestia, Via del Seminario 89, the best of all the restaurants we tried, and probably one of the best anywhere in Rome. The Internet at the apartment is slow and unreliable and causes frustration.

The Archetto apartment was great: It was centrally located and really gave us the flavor of living in Rome! Our greeter Rosa was very helpful, and Stefano provided prompt and efficient airport transfers. A Perfect Apartment
Ciao! A few words to share with you a wonderful week in Rome. The apartment lived up to our (high) expectations. It was very comfortable, clean and quiet. We enjoyed the terrasse everyday for apero before dinner. The apartment is centrally located in Rome, and everything we visited was within a 30-45 minutes walking distance. Several good restaurants around. We moderately enjoyed the Archetto restaurant downstairs (unfriendly waiter, OK food), but we found several others nearby, much better (Baccano, Il Chianti, Osteria dell'Ingegno). For bread and pizza lovers, a 20 minutes walk to Forno Marco Roscioli in Campo dei Fiore is a must. For gelati, walk 10 min. to Giolitti, a world famous place (but good gelati are easy to find everywhere). Rosie our greeter was wonderful, on time and was able to make last minute modifications to her schedule for us. I would definitely recommend this apartment.

The location was ideal for many reasons.
This one bedroom apartment was a great home in Rome for two people. The location was ideal for many reasons. First, proximity to the Trevi fountain, Via Frattina shopping district, Spanish steps shopping district, terrific dining and a grocery store. Second, the kitchen was well-appointed and the washer came in very handy every day. Third, everyone with whom we interacted to arrange arrival and departure were helpful. Fourth, the apartment was spacious and included free WiFi. A result of this experience I have recommended Italy Perfect to friends who are planning trips to Italy.

Archetto apartment was our second apartment rental in Rome and the location is great. Many great restaurants and attractions are within a 5 minute walk. Don't miss the Colonna Gallery and Isabella apartment tours on Saturday. Compared to our last rental agency, Italy Perfect was very professional and well organized. The only problem we had was internet access, but that was addressed promptly and we had similar problems in the first rental, but not nearly so well addressed. We chose Italy Perfect because of our outstanding experiences with Paris Perfect and clearly the approaches are very similar.

My family of four had a fantastic stay at the Archetto apartment truly located just three minutes walk from the Trevi Fountain. So tastefully furnished and comfortable
I loved this apartment. So tastefully furnished and comfortable, with a balcony where we could eat outside enjoying the sites and sounds even though it was November. Hard to believe that the apartment which is situated on a quiet side street is just a few short blocks from Trevi Fountain bustling with crowds of people. It was great to return home to the apartment where we felt a world away from the tourists (yet able to join them with just a short walk when we wanted to). We also loved the restaurant just downstairs where we felt like family. I'm already thinking of when I can return here.
