The Hideaway is a sumptuous, elegant refuge in the heart of Jackson Hole. Set in a quiet neighborhood just minutes from the town square, this three-bedroom jewel box of a house was created by a renowned interior designer. Rich silks hang from the windows, Orientals cover the polished hardwood floors, oil paintings illuminate the walls. This is truly a splendid home, outside of the rustic Wyoming tradition. The master suite has a king bed, fireplace and private bath. The other two bedrooms are each supremely comfortable and unique – one with a queen bed, the other with two twins; they share a bathroom with double sinks. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped. True to its name, the Hideaway has a home theatre, with big flat-screen tv and surround sound, and a private, fenced back yard with a gas grill for outdoor cooking and a hot tub perfectly situated for star-gazing.
The Hideaway is remarkably quiet and serene, and yet is just a short walk away from Jackson Hole’s fabulous restaurants, boutiques, theatres, galleries and night life. In the summer, the parades, farmers’ markets and festivals are just around the corner, and yet you’d never know it once you step inside the front door. This being Jackson Hole, as cosmopolitan and entertaining as town is, nature is never far away. Nearby is the Elk Refuge, where thousands of Elk spend the winter and where one can take a sleigh ride. Night skiing, tubing and ice skating are all right here in town. Cache Creek Canyon is wonderful for hiking and mountain biking alongside the splashing creek, under the pines. Teton Village is only 14 miles away, and the silent, majestic presence of the Grand Tetons blesses the entire area. |
