The upstairs bedroom features a queen-size bed and glass doors that open onto a private deck. The ground level bedroom is sufficiently secluded from the upper level, creating an ideal environment for two couples/families. Both bedrooms have their own television and volume control for the house stereo system.
The Great Room offers the essentials of relaxation: comfortable leather furniture and a large flat-screen TV. The fully loaded kitchen offers stainless appliances and gourmet. In the dining room, a long bench-style dining table makes for spacious, enjoyable meals.
The Carriage House offers two decks on the upper level, which provide ideal spaces for viewing wildlife, relaxing with a good book, or taking in the sunrise to the east or the sunset to the west.
Sunken into its own separate deck, the seven person hot tub provides the ultimate in relaxation. A stone patio with wood-burning fireplace and dining table makes for the best of outdoor living.
When you stay at The Carriage House, you’ll have access to several local features. Enjoy a swim in the heated, in-ground swimming pool open from May through October. Thanksgiving in the Mountains

This was our second stay at the Carriage House this year and once again it was a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy God's glorious creation. We experienced all the ambiance of autumn which is what we hoped for -- crunching leaves underfoot, crisp evenings in the hot tub, fall and Christmas decorations throughout the town, and enough pots/pans in the kitchen to make Thanksgiving dinner! Mercier's Orchard was a great place for getting homemade pumpkin and pecan pies PLUS providing the opportunity for some early Christmas shopping. Found the Arts Center in Blue Ridge to be a wonderful experience -- not only the art and the people, but the opportunity to purchase some of the art at reasonable prices. Loved our days at Amicolola State Park and Fort Mountain State Park. And once again, the cabin was spotless!!

I stayed at the Carriage House and it was very nice, exceptionally well cleaned, and comfortable. Access to the river was easy. Only thing keeping it from 5 stars was no basics like salt and pepper, salad dressing, etc that you may be looking to find in a vacation house. BRING EVERYTHING if you plan to cook.

The details and photos provided about the property were helpful and accurate. The owners were very easy to work with. The Blue Ridge location was perfect - very close to shops and restaurants when I decided to venture out. Very close by is the Serenity in the Mountains day spa, which offers lots of great pampering! I enjoyed roaming the property trails and saw lots of deer. I especially enjoyed the on-site pool as the weather was still quite hot. I was lucky enough to have the pool to myself every day, which was very peaceful and relaxing. The house was spotless, as were the hot tub and pool. I thought everything was very well maintained (with everything you need in the kitchen). I would definitely enjoy another visit to the Carriage House!

A Great Time Playing in Blue Ridge

My husband and I rented Carriage House for size, hot tub and game room while my brother and his wife rented Riverside Cabin so that we had river access and a great water view. What an awesome week!!! The cabins were wonderfully clean (the cleanest we have EVER stayed in anywhere) and the check-in was easy -- even allowing us an early check-in. The little extras were great.....beautiful flowers, tasteful decorations, and cared-for grounds plus the big extras like the pool, hot tub, and campfire areas. We are returning for Thanksgiving and looking forward to seeing how the mountain views change with the season. We have great memories and pictures of playing in the water in the area: canoeing from the property to Horseshoe Bend Park, tubing at the park, canoeing on the Toccoa off Aska Road, and rafting on the Ocoee. What a great location to get to them all! And the special treat was being able to bring our dogs on vacation!! PS. Did we mention how amazingly clean the cabin was??? And just as pictured online!

The kids back in school and it was just the two of us... with a beautiful mountain home, modern comforts yet Blue Ridge everywhere. Peace, quiet and lots of physical activities. We hiked and played ping pong. Went in the spa and enjoyed the super luxurious and comfortable bedding. We were there to get a little work done in an environment without distraction. We had a glitch with our internet connection and someone was out to get us going in no time...We enjoyed some conversation and a history lesson about the area from the friendly staff. When we return in the fall we plan to bring the kids. We know they are going to love it so much! With the first quarter of school behind them...Basketball and kyaking, some 'family uniting' board games around the generous family table. And then kick back and watch a movie on one of the tvs...parents up stairs and kids down stairs! The home was just as described...clean and beautiful. We would reccommend a stay here to friends and family. And cannot wait to return ourselves in the fall! I think we may take the train ride this time...

I had a fabulous time here with my two high school children during spring break. The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed for the weekend. The hot tub and pool table were a hit with the kids and we enjoyed roasting s'mores in the fire pit each night. The cabin was spacious and well kept with great ammenities.The trails and the river area were beautiful and well kept. We also enjoyed going to the Swan drive-in theatre and Mercier Orchards while we were there. Both are a short drive and lots of fun! The only down side to the whole weekend is that despite our best effors we didn't catch any fish!!!

The leaves were just starting to turn and we loved being able to view them from all sides of this gorgeous cabin. The many trails on the property allowed us to walk and walk and walk. We also spent much time just hanging out by the river. We hated to leave but we'll be back next summer to enjoy the swimming pool!
