Beautiful, new but classic, oceanfront house on a quiet cove only 10 minutes from Chester. Spectacular views from the house, deck, stone patio and terraced lawns. Large 1 acre property gives lots of privacy, yet good access to town. Relax on your own dock or private sandy swimming beach. The property comes with a canoe and kayak which are fun to use especially when the cove is glassy smooth. Relax in the hammock or have a barbeque. You can catch mackerel fish right off the dock.
The upstairs has two large master suites with ocean views that easily accommodate a family or two couples. Downstairs is a cheery bedroom with 1 double bed and 1 single bed with the bathroom next door. Everything is new. The kitchen is fully outfitted with an island and espresso bar for morning coffee. There is also a large farmhouse table for family gatherings with many windows facing the sea. The living room has a wood/stove fireplace with windows facing the sea.
Located in Chester Basin on a scenic road, the house is within 10 minutes of Chester with its quaint shops, restaurants, live theatre, fabulous public 18 hole golf course and tennis. Mahone Bay's shops and famous 3 churches are a 15 minute drive in the other direction. Lunenburg, a UNESCO world heritage site is 30 minutes away. Excellent wi-fi internet connections in house and good restaurant at the end of the road.
In cooler months curl up to watch the views in front of the fire or watch a movie on the flat panel TV. There are also lots of great biking trails. The fall foliage is lovely.
