You will love the seclusion of our log cabin. The large deck is perfect for bird watching, reading, enjoying the sunset, grilling out, or just plain relaxing with your favorite beverage. The screened porch has 180 degree views of the mountains and valley below.
We are located only 30 min from Biltmore house in Asheville. A must see on everyone’s list. This is America’s largest home and open year round. The gardens are spectacular. Asheville, itself is an artist’s mecca. Waynesville is only 15 min away and the restored downtown has many art galleries, restaurants, and quaint shops.
Maggie Valley has many shops and restaurants. You are right off the Blue Ridge Parkway which will lead you to the Great Smokey Mountain National Park - only 20 min away! The Parkway provides unbelievable scenic lookouts and leads to many unusual little towns and tourist attractions.
The master bedroom has a king size bed and its own private full bath. Lie in bed and enjoy the views. Second bedroom has two twin beds.
Cabin is fully stocked with linens, utensils, and all kitchen equipment including microwave, coffee maker, toaster, full size stove and refrigerator, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Just bring your food, paper goods, and personal items.
Please remember that we are pet friendly (up to 40 lbs) and NO SMOKING.
The property around the cabin is perfect for hiking but be in shape, these hills can be a challenge. We have bird feeders available if you wish to bring seed and the hummingbird feeders are ready for you to fill. The hummingbirds are great fun to watch.
Maggie Valley and Waynesville host some great festivals so be sure to check their Chamber of Commerce web sites.
