I love the ocean in the fall and winter and Warren's place provides the perfect weekend getaway for tranquility and solitude...from the sight and sound of the ocean just outside the door to the warm fireplace...it is the perfect place to escape the pace of the working world. The place is always clean and Warren is a terrific host. Of all the places I have rented along the Jersey Shore, this one is my favorite!

One word describes this townhouse....PERFECT> It is everything I would want in a vacation townhouse. This place is so clean, has everything you need, decorated to perfection, great location, views to die for, I could go on and on. We had a small family getaway and had a wonderful time. Out on the beach at sunrise with coffee and sipped wine at sunset on the patio deck. What more could you ask for??? I would recommend this place to anyone and I will be back. Thank you Warren for sharing this beautiful place with us.

Perfect beach house!

We were fortunate to spend the month of August at lovely Windrift. The townhouse was absolutely fantastic - clean, tastefully decorated, well-stocked - and Warren and Suzanne were so attentive and accommodating. The beach in front of the townhouse is never crowded - not even on the weekends - a true feat for the Jersey shore! We felt like it was a little hidden gem of a beach. Great waves, too! The location is convenient to town and many restaurants. Beautiful Sandy Hook is a few miles to the north - great bike path, the widest beach we've ever seen, and the best lighthouse tour we've ever taken (we've been to quite a few!) The development is quiet and family-friendly but not overrun with kids. Our 3 kids (ages 9, 7 and 4) had a blast riding bikes on the quiet cul de sac. Overall, we highly recommend Windrift - everything about our stay was just perfect, with the exception of being evacuated by Hurricane Irene! Thanks, Warren and Suzanne, for your warmth and hospitality!

Warren has asked me to add a few words about the fishing possibilities immediately outside Wind Drift's front window. I managed to hook a large striped bass there on our first day before the weather turned really bad. While I didn't see it before it got off, it was easily a 15-20 pounder. I had caught a 10 pounder earlier that day on Sandy Hook, and this one was significantly larger.

This was our second stay at Wind Drift. As always, the house was immaculate and had everything that was needed for a comfortable stay. While the weather was not nearly as cooperative as during our previous stay, it hardly mattered. In fact, the sounds of the stormy surf just made it cozier for cuddling up near the fireplace with a glass of wine in the evenings. We will be back! PS - We recommend Chiafullo's in Atlantic Highlands (A&P Plaza) for fantastic NJ pizza!

Our (3) month stay at Wind Drift was WONDERFUL. We had the opportunity to visit NYC multiple times, visit with our children and grandchildren as desired,spend time with old friends in the area and relax in this marvelous setting. The owners, Warren and Suzanne met/exceeded all our needs in every way and as such we would highly recommend this property to anyone who places a high emphasis on cleanliness.

Everything was perfect...Very Clean, (It looked clean, it smelled clean and it was clean) beautifully decorated, awesome views of the ocean and the weather was perfect. I stayed at this beautiful condo last September and I have to say that the place, location, and owners are fantastic. You can not be closer the the beach and the condo is spectacular. When I originally booked the condo I read the description and it sounded very nice but when I actually arrived I can say that it exceeded my expectations. The condo is stocked with every ammenity you can possibly need. My only regret was I didn't book the condo for longer. I will not make that mistake this year.

Our family had a wonderful time staying here while visiting family for Christmas on the East coast. The house was comfortable and charming. The wintertime ocean views were serene. It had everything we needed to make our visit feel like our home away from home. Santa even drove by on his fire truck on Christmas morning and waved to our little girl while we ate breakfast. The owners also made our visit so pleasant. They made sure that we had everything we needed and such nice people. We hope we can come back for many more visits.

Wind Drift is beautiful and beautifully situated. You have made it so lovely and pleasant, and we had absolutely everything we needed. Every room and space is a pleasure to be in -- tasteful and comfortable and ocean views galore. (If we had a bigger car I might have absconded with that double chaise on the upstairs deck!) Your restaurant recommendations were great, though we ended up having most of our meals in and found everything we needed in the kitchen and the grill. Thanks for creating such a wonderful place to get away to. I hope we'll have a chance to be there again soon.

Me and my girlfriends had such an amazing time at this house regardless of rain or shine..The house is beautiful, great for entertaining with a grill, outside chimney, a great patio all overlooking the beach!! This is our second stay at Wind Drift, and there are definite reasons for our return! The setting and decor of this townhome are a perfect union between beach views and beach house comfort. The home is impeccably stocked and maintained with every needed commodity to have an amazing Jersey Shore vacation! We love laying in the master bed and looking out at the vast expanse of ocean. Every day is a perfect day here, no matter the weather! We travel extensively, and would put this rental at the top of our experiences! Five Stars!!!!!

The townhouse is beautiful! There's no need to ever leave....it was so relaxing to sit by the fire and read or fall asleep listening to the ocean. There are also some good restaurants nearby that deliver. We've stayed in a number of homes on VRBO and this property just felt like "home."
