Our loyal "regular" renters have booked from July 4 - week before Labor Day. Thank you, all! However, we do have availability for Labor Day week and all of June and September -- IMHO the best month on the Cape! This is a charming, 5 bedroom summer cottage. It is furnished with hand painted antique furniture and is situated in a private community called Brewster Park. All the Park's amenities -- private beach (with "Sunhouse" gazebo for sunset cocktails), tennis courts, playground, community house, ball field) -- are within a 5-minute stroll from our cottage on quiet (speed limit = 10 mph) private lanes.
Most importantly, the cottage is a one-minute walk (300 yards) to a private beach where twice a day the tide goes out for more than a mile allowing for fabulous walks on the ocean bottom, basking on white sand bars, paddling in tidal pools and swimming in warm, gentle channels. In addition, during the summer (July 4 - Labor Day) there are organized games for children every morning at 10:00 as well as a story hour for little ones and an arts and crafts program for rainy days. Because the community is private children ride their bikes to the playground and to the beach freely and happily.
During the quieter shoulder season, enjoy a peaceful getaway, with swimming (in September; June's water is chilly), golf or tennis and a crackling fire in the cool evening. Perfect for a long weekend or for weddings or golf outings. (Brewster's municipal Captains Course boasts two 18-hole championship courses ranked in the nation's top 10 by Golf Digest).
This cottage has one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and the community is one of the most children friendly places ever.
