WE HAVE A GREAT SQUAW VALLEY LOCATION!!! Overlooks the rugged ski slopes of Squaw Valley USA. Poole's Guesthouse is a charming, comfortable and well equipped home. You will enjoy handcrafted woodwork and Light-Filled rooms. Best of all, NO Security or Cleaning Deposits to worry about.

Our Squaw Valley lodging style similar to a charming Bed and Breakfast, where GUESTS CHOOSE TO RENT ONE, TWO or THREE OF OUR LOVELY GUESTROOMS. Rather than provide a breakfast, we have chosen to open our gourmet kitchen for guests to use too! Guests often bring in groceries and their favorite recipes to cook any meals that they choose.

Is this Squaw Valley rental just a romantic lodging for couples? No. It is also a nice comfortable lodging for singles, friends, and families.

Rent one, two or three guestrooms. Prices quoted are our per guestroom, per night winter rates for one or two people and do not include county 10% county tax. Holiday rates, slightly higher:
Guestroom #1 - THE PONDEROSA KING with one king-size bed - $125
Guestroom #2 - THE PONDEROSA QUEEN with one queen-size bed - $115
Guestroom # 3 - THE HIDEAWAY with one King and one twin-size bed - $115

All Guestrooms have shared use of Central Living Room, Gourmet Kitchen, Scenic Dining Room, free laundry facilities w/detergent, guest computer and high speed internet access.

Ponderosa King and Ponderosa Queen guestrooms take up the entire upper level of our three-story guesthouse. Enjoy your view of the ski slopes, through your SIX-FOOT OCTAGONAL WINDOW that looks out over the central living area with its 23-foot cathedral ceiling and walls that are mostly glass. Your picturesque view is the rugged High Sierra mountains, tall Ponderosa Pines and ski slopes of Squaw Valley USA. The Hideaway is on the lower level.

Rooms are light and airy, with high beamed ceilings and knotty pine trim. A 200 channel Satellite TV is in each room. The bathroom is shared between these two guestrooms and right outside your door. In the Ponderosa King and Queen, you have a vanity sink with mirror inside your room.

WHAT DRAWS GUESTS TO POOLE’S GUESTHOUSE, BRINGS THEM BACK AGAIN AND AGAIN AND HAS THEM REFERRING OTHERS TO THIS LODGING?

A nice and friendly, comfortable atmosphere where people are having a fun getaway. Resident hosts Herman and Ann Poole are a great asset to guests and can sometimes be seen in the guesthouse. Long-time locals, they are glad to recommend great places to eat, rent equipment, and let you know about fun things to do in the area.
