  We had a great week. The house is strategically located so we could take advantage of the nearby towns, restaurants and ocean/sound beahces for swimming, fishing and relaxing....something different every day, only to get back to the house and watch the sun set from the beach or deck. A very pleasant surprise was the nearby entrance to a very scenic bike path which doubles as a running path. We'll be back.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children.

  Rented this house for week to celebrate our parents 50th wedding anniversary with extended family. Beautiful location right on the lake swimming, kayaking, and fishing in our on back yard. Large private parcel set well back from the road. Centrally located on the Cape so it was a relatively short drive to get anywhere anyone wanted to go. Short drive to all needed amenities. Great house for all ages, we we ranged from 76 to 9. Owner was a tremendous help as we looked for homes to rent and details about his home. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a Cape retreat with family or friends.

  My wife and I spent a week with our two daughters, their husbands, twin five year old girls and a three year old boy. The kids loved the lake and spent a lot of time in the water, as well as the large back yard. The sleeping arrangements were excellent. We really appreciated the extra sinks in two of the downstairs bedrooms. The deck was terrific, with great views and a lot of privacy. We grilled out once and had breakfast on the deck a few times. The living area was spacious and met our needs very well. The location was conveniently close to a Stop and Shop as well as several other stores. We've been coming to the cape for 36 years and love the Harwich area. I highly recommend this vacation home for large families.

  My friends and I went on a "girls only" week on Cape Cod and chose this house because of its size, central location and because it sits on a pond. When we got to the house, within minutes we saw many species of birds, including a hummingbird, ducks and geese. The house is nestled in the woods right on beautiful Long Pond and within minutes of every place we wanted to visit. During our stay, we spent lots of time on the deck overlooking the pond and watched all the birds who visited us. The house comfortable slept six of us and we just loved sitting around the dining room table with the lovely views while we ate. I would highly recommend this house to families or groups of friends. The owner was so kind and accomodating each time we contacted him with any questions. We would love to return to the house!
