Our apartment loft in Fitzrovia is the ideal vacation rental in downtown London.

This charming furnished flat is set on the first floor (one floor above the ground) of a beautiful Edwardian house.

The building has been refurbished in January 2008 and host only 2 apartments.

This is an ideal retreat for a family with 2 children or just a couple looking for a central pied a terre with everything accessible on foot in a calm and safe environment.
We can welcome up to 4 guests with additional sleep in the lounge a top quality aerobed (Raised, Platinum, double size complemented by a memory foam mattress topper. VERY comfortable).

Our furnished apartment is composed of a cosy bedroom at the back of the flat away from any street noise, a comfortable living room/dining room with a fully equipped kitchen corner and a gorgeous shower room. Everything is brand new ! Fully furnished (linens, towels, dishes). Just bring your suitcase.

Benefiting from 3 meter high ceiling graced by 2 large windows, the living room offers lots of light and a comfortable sense of space. The street is a mix of residential and office/restaurants. It is a narrow one way street and there is not a lot of traffic day or night.

Entirely redecorated and refurbished in January 2008, the apartment flows freely from front to back with smart use of every corner. With a real attention to details and providing plush and comfortable furnishings the flat is sheltered in a decor of wood and serene colors.

A fully equipped kitchen is at your disposal for your cooking inspiration during your stay in our lovely flat. Spices, coffee, tea, cleaning products are also available. The kitchen is equipped with dinning ware and cooking ware for 6 persons.

For a quiet night at home, we offer an entertainment center which comprises colour TV a DVD player as well as a CD player and connection to WIFI Internet. We also offer a computer screen via the TV to enable you to check your emails.

If you come by car, there are public underground parkings all around for a fee. Our street also provide a pay and display parking space.
We are situated in the congestion charge zone which will cost 8 gbp/day.

We believe a car is not necessary as you benefit from a very central location with easy access to the Northern line (Warren street tube station) and Metropolitan line (Great Portland street) within 5 min walk. The Kings Cross and Euston train station are 2 metro stops away.

Regent park is only 6 minute walk away. Covent Gardens is 15 minute walk and Camden town and flea market is a 10 min bus ride.

  • We stayed here the latter part of September last fall. It was an excellent experience. The owners were very professional.. It was clean and well equipped. The neighborhood was very interesting and extremely convenient. We would stay here again on another trip.

  • We stayed for one week in early May of 2008 and had a great vacation. The flat is just as described. I was pleansantly surprised by the attention to details. The appliances were new, easy to use, and soap was provided. Plenty of extra linens were provided as well. The owner/manager Katia was extremely accomodating and answered all of my questions from my numerous e-mails. We loved the proximity to several underground stations, serving several lines. It is only a few stops away from Paddington station which we used for Heathrow Connect as well as King's Cross St. Pancras which we used for the Eurostar train to Paris. The street is very quiet and very safe. My only dissapointments were few and fairly insignificant; I missed having a couch in the living room instead of the two chairs, the entertainment center was part of the computer and the chairs didn't face that direction (though we could have turned them around if we wanted to watch TV or a movie), and the windows while large didn't open very wide so didn't provide much of a breeze, which was only a problem because of the unusually warm weather the week we were there. These small issues were more than made up for by all of the advantages. Katia made everything very easy for us, from allowing us to check in and drop our bags very early, to making the 1st payment via paypal and giving us several options to choose from to pay the balance at check in. Her deposit policy was great as well. Overall I was very impressed with the flat, would recommend it to friends and family, and would stay there again on any future trips to London.

    Hi Thank you so much for your positive comments. The TV has now been transfered next to the fireplace so the two chairs are facing it! There are also fans in the apartment in the summer months and a window that completely opens in the back which provides a nice draft should it ever be needed. As for the couch, we cannot get one through the communal hall (welcome to quirky small european buildings), at least not unless it was flat pack. But that kind of sofa is not what I have in mind for our beautiful place ;-)
