  We rented this for NOWFE and found it to be great. The owners were wonderful to work with, answered questions, help us get set up and made sure we knew where things were. Small but workable kitchen. Shower in master bath is really cool! On street parking right in front, just make sure you move your car on Thursday morning. NOPD will tow. Thanks for a great week..

  We four girlfriends found the property to be in a perfect location - we walked to everything - Bourbon Street, the French Market, all the fine eating establishments throughout the French Quarter. When we first got there, we were a bit taken aback with the gated walkway through a rather long, dark path, as well as the small living room and kitchen facilities. HOWEVER, as we settled in, we found the lodging to be just perfect. We used the courtyard a ton, and had an absolutely fabulous time. The owners were very accommodating and responsive (although after check-in we had no reason to contact them again). We would definitely consider staying here again if we return to New Orleans (which we would LOVE to do.)

  This condo has the PERFECT location in the Quarter, quiet & residential. Yet close & safe walking distance the all the action. The historic value of the building is cool, very NOLA. The owners were friendly & informative. The condo furnishings were comfortable yet very tastefully furnished. The courtyard was private and peaceful. Both bedrooms were on opposite ends, perfect for two couples! We will definitely be back next year! Thanks Dawn & Steve!

  The location of this place was fantastic for us. It is definitely clean and well-maintained. The owners are friendly, helpful and accommodating considering we drove into NOLA and weren't exactly sure when we'd arrive. The place worked perfectly for our 2 weeks stay. It was home away from home. The little courtyard was great to sit in for lunches and sometimes breakfast. It is shared, but except for the weekends, we never saw any of our neighbors so it felt like "our courtyard". Every thing is in walking distance in the Quarter, one just has to pick out the coffee shop, grocery, music place and restaurant that you like best. Since we like jazz, we went out of the quarter into Marigny on Frenchman Street for music several times. (Also walking distance). Rouses grocery store is very good for variety, but we found one a little closer called Matassa's Market which was a bit cramped, but had most of what we needed, plus they took credit cards! Envie coffee shop has wonderful coffee and great breakfast. And, one of our favorite "close to home" restaurants is Mona Lisa. We will definitely recommend this place to friends and relatives and hope to come back again in the near future.

  As a seasoned New Orleans and Mardi Gras vet, our group was impressed with the condo and the location. We were 3 blocks from the action and 4 blocks from a main street to escape the madness without having to go thru the Quarter. There was even parking available most of the time when we needed it The owners were very accommodating throughout the process.

  The condo accommodated two couples comfortably mainly because we spent little time there. It was clean but there were no ammedities, not even kleenex so bring everything you think you will need from toiletries to kitchen things such as sweetner for your coffee, as well as your coffee. It was a real hassle getting a parking place even with the parking pass. The biggest disappointment was the courtyard. It was a mess and looked like it had not been tended to for months. It was ashame because it could be quite inviting with just a little effort. We did sit outside but the view was not pleasant. The owner rushed out when we arrived without giving us some important information but she did answer questions when we called her. We would not go back because we believe we could find something with more ambiance for the price.

  Owner response: Thank you for your feedback. We admit we are not happy with the courtyard at this time, however, we did lose a large bird of paradise tree during hurricane Isaac that damaged and broke loose bricks in the raised planters. The association has plans to repair the damage with our insurance proceeds.

  Loved it. Cute property, very well decorated and furnished and in an amazing location - just about as close as you can get to the action in a very, very quiet area!

  What a fun weekend to spend in the French Quarter! It was about an equal walk to the action on Bourbon Street, Frenchman Street and an even shorter walk to the French Market which is perfect for early morning breakfast. We spent our entire 3 days walking to all of the hot spots because we just couldn't sit still. If you are like us, don't forget your walking shoes! I also recommend checking out local calendars to see if there are events going on. We were there during the Red Dress Run and were the only people on Bourbon not wearing red dresses. Dawn and Steve were great hosts, very friendly and they made themselves avilable if we needed anything--which we didn't because they had already thought of everything! We will definitly stay here again. 5 Stars!

  My husban and I along with my grandfather and mother in law stayed here and it was absolutely perfect. We were far enough down Bourbon St. to have peace and quiet but close enough to walk to everything. It felt extremely safe and I would recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay.
