We spent three nights at this gorgeous house. We enjoyed relaxing in the pool and hot tub and grilling on the patio. Hilary was very helpful. The home is perfect, the backyard is very beautiful and private. The house is close to everything, quiet, comfortable, tastefully decorated and has all of the amenities. We highly recommend it!

We stayed in Crestline for one week in early April 2012.We had a fantastic time.We were a family group of 8 adults with two additional adults ( who lived locally ) sometimes joining us for meals or 'pool time'.The weather was fantastic, warm and sunny by day, cool at night and no bugs to bother us.The pool and hot tub were very relaxing and a popular beginning and end to each day. We found the property was exactly as photographed by the owner; clean , comfortable, everything as described with clear printed directions for all of the important 'stuff' ( trash day, pool operation, helpful local directions / shopping suggestions). The location was very convenient to the many amenities of SB and we experienced great dining ( you must visit Hendry's on the beach for brunch and try their breakfast special), hiking, kayaking, beach walks, jogging trails and interesting historic buildings in the town center. We also visited beautiful lake with hikes, rock climbing and wonderful panoramic views just 30 minutes drive from the city. We found it very easy to make all the arrangements with Hilary who made everything simple and straightforward as we went through the rental arrangements and agreement process. We would definitely stay here again.

Hilary: Thank you for sending the detailed contact information ahead of time – who would guess that we would immediately lock ourselves out! We gathered our family (for three days) from various parts of California and Ohio for our daughter’s wedding. Your spacious home felt welcoming as soon as we walked through the doorway. We were pleasantly amazed how completely furnished, stocked, and centrally located it was – meeting all of our needs for a comfortable stay - which included comfortable beds, games, all cookware, plates & utensils, the proximity to shopping, the Zoo, Hendry’s Beach, McConnell’s Ice Cream, and of course the wedding site! All of our guests appreciated having their own space to retreat to. The view of the mountains and city lights was inspiring! Our Ohio guests loved the serenity of the pool/spa area for their early morning chats with family at home. We would recommend a stay at your home to anyone wishing to accommodate a group (over several days) for a special event.

This house was perfect for housing our group of 11. It was even better than the pictures made it seem (how often does that happen?!). The pool and hot tub were great and the house was nicely furnished. Hilary was very accomodating and a pleasure to work with. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We spent a week here in July 2011. We had my son's wedding dinner out on the patio. It was fantastic. Hilary was one of the most accomodating owners that I have had the fortune to meet and we have rented from many other VRBO owners. The beds were very comfortable. The pool and spa was amazing. The house was fully equipped. No one mentioned the beautiful view of the mountains out over the backyard. To top it all off, Hilary also went searching for a part of my wedding ring (not very valuable but very, very sentimental) and found it. Also the location of the house, so close to the beach, the downtown area, shopping.... What more could you want????

Living here was great!! The house comfortably housed our party of 12. The pool was well heated, even through the night, though there were many bugs in it. The accommodations, which included plates, utensils, towels, soap, etc., were very great conveniences for us. On top of all this, the beach is so close to this place, as are the main streets (State st., Cambrillo (sp.)) and supermarkets!! If I were to come to SB to stay again with this many people, I'd definitely stay here again, and YOU SHOULD TOO!

The house was as advertised: spacious, clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. We had 10 people, including teenagers and small kids, and everyone had a great time. We felt close to everything we wanted to do in Santa Barbara, and also had fun just playing in the pool. We would definitely rent this house again.

This home totally suited our needs for a large family get together. The back yard has beautiful views of the mountains and city lights. We enjoyed the spa (it was a bit too cold for the pool while we were there). Everything was clean and well maintained. The beds were SO comfortable! It is a short drive to the beach and downtown. It was a great value. I would definitely recommend this home.

I recently stayed her with a group of 8 friends. We loved the house and really enjoyed the hot tub and pool despite it being November. Hilarie was very easy to deal with and the house was well prepared for our arrival. Kudos on the great bath supplies and having the house fully stocked with games. Would defniitely stay here again.

Thank you for making our stay so wonderful! You were flexible and reliable and good at communicating with me while we were sorting out the dates, arrival time, etc. You were even so kind to mail us the item my daughter accidentally left behind! (Thanks again.) As already mentioned by another reviewer, the photos don't really show how modern and comfortable and SPACIOUS this house truly is. Our family arrived from different parts of the country for a wedding and were really able to relax in this home. This is my first time using VRBO and it was a positive experience all around.

We rented this house recently when we had lots of out of state family coming for a reunion. It is a great place. Very attractive and quite large. The pool area and view are great. Close to both down town and the beach.

From the moment our family entered the front door we felt at home. The view of the Santa Barbara mountains is beatutiful and the short drive to Hendry's Beach is perfect. Happily, we only had to bring food and fine spirits due to the fact that everything is here. The only disappointed time is NOW...we have to leave!

This home met our needs perfectly! We had 2 elementary kids, 1 teenager, 1 23-year-old, and 6 adults (one 76-year-old)--and each one had a great time staying here. The view of the mountains was gorgeous, the hottub and heated pool provided fun for all, and the beds were very comfortable. It was spacious so we could all get off in our own little corners to not have the "crowd" feel. The WiFi and flat screen TV also kept us entertained. So many helpful tips were in the notebook provided. Can you tell we had a great time there!? We were near the grocery store and the shoreline drive to the beach. If we are ever in Santa Barbara again (we were here for a family wedding), we will not hesitate to stay here again!

Great house- great neighborhood. Larger, comfortable master with a great view and 4 other bedrooms for kids, friends, etc. Back yard is very private with a pool and spectacular mountain view. Easy access to the 101 highway, beach, groceries, and downtown Santa Barbara. Owner lives nearby and is very helpful. Would certainly use it again.

This was a delightful home for a gathering of 4 families. All the rooms are nicely decorated and the house has a delightful view of the mountains from the pool area. We had 12 people and felt we had plenty of space. It was just a mile to a terrific beach and easy to get downtown. I am sure we will be back.

This house was ABSOLUTELY fantastic!! The photos and the description don't do it any justice!! The views from the backyard/pool area are amazing, unobstructed views of Santa Barbara. The pool is MASSIVE, very clean, and Dan the Pool Man even came to service it during our stay. There were 14 women and all but 1 had a bed. They provided accordian mattresses and blankets though, so she still was very comfortable. The house was fully stocked with TP, paper towels, bath towels, kitchenware, cleaning supplies, etc. We didn't need to bring a thing but ourselves. Beautiful interior...again, MASSIVE house. Each room is HUGE, much larger than pics show. Downtown was only about a 5 minute drive!! I would rent this place again without question!!! I wish I lived here actually! Just an all around incredible place!!
