Lajoie Family Vacation

Guest: Lois L.
Date of Stay: 04/14/12 Review Submitted: 05/09/12

Our whole family stayed at King Triton's Palace for 2 weeks at the end of April. There was 14 of us (7 adults 7 children ages 11, 9, 7, 5, 4, 3 & 3 mos). The house was great - clean & comfortable. There was plenty of room for us and the kids loved having their own themed rooms! The house had lots of books and toys and having the pack n play, baby seat, monitors & swing was such a bonus traveling with a baby. We also got a lot of use of the 2 strollers (Ann, the manager, brought over a brand new stroller to replace one that had broken prior to or arrival). Management was great. If we needed anything (batteries for tv remote, new pool alarm buttons) they responded immediately. We didn't hesitate to call since they were very friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub were a great hit - lots of patio tables and chairs so that we all fit very comfortably around the pool! Kids also loved the outside play set. Another hit was the theatre/playroom. After a day at the parks, swimming, etc., popping in a movie for the kids was a great way for them to wind down. We love the Formosa Gardens area, beautiful area to walk or jog. Lots of good shopping and restaurants nearby (Super Target, Walmart, Walgreens). I would recommend Sweet Tomatoes restaurant for the salad bar, Houlihans, Bob Evans for breakfast, Flippers, Giordanos for pizza, and Earl of Sandwich, Boma, Rain Forest Cafe, Crystal Palace, Le Cellier, all at Disney. We did all 4 of the Disney parks and I love Downtown Disney (though it can get crowded). We also went to Legoland in Winter Haven about 45 mins away. We would highly recommend this park, especially ages 3-12 - never had to wait long in line and the children loved it. You can go back a second day for $15 if you return within 9 days (we did)! We definitely would recommend the house. Had an awesome vacation and can't wait for our next trip!

McLean Family at Disney

Date of Stay: 03/31/12 Review Submitted: 04/18/12

My wife and I and our family, 6 grandkids from 6 to 15 plus 8 adults spent 2 weeks at this wonderful place. It is ideal and all of us had a fabulous time. Great pool, big patio, play area for kids and a lovely hot hot tub. Rooms are big and Debbie has provided lots of crockery, cutlery, you name it. The play room/tv room is huge, lots of great recliners, big tv, toys, hockey table, books, etc. Great outside barbecue, large open kitchen area with plenty of tables and chairs. Debbie has a couple of local people on call if you have a problem and they are very helpful. It is ideally placed with Disney parks just 10-15 minutes away and 20-30 minutes to Seaworld and Universal, also on right side for Tampa if you want to do Busch gardens, about 60 minutes away. There is a great supermarket (Marketplace) just 5 minutes away, Target and Walmart 10-15 minutes away and all kinds of restaurants and shops within 10 minutes. It is a beautiful home and if we ever do a similar trip this is the house we would come back to, definitely. We live in Scotland and did all the contact by email, Debbie was great at answering all our questions. I have said to Debbie that I'd be happy to talk to any folks from the UK who are considering her place and she has my contact details.

We must echo all previous reviews; King Triton's Palace has everything you could possibly need for vacationing families. Don't hesitate to rent this spacious, well-furnished, and ideally located home. My grandchildren loved this house as much as they loved Mickey and Tinkerbelle!

A Disney trip to remember

Guest: John W.
Date of Stay: 03/17/12 Review Submitted: 04/02/12

Recently my wife and I decided to sponsor a trip for our three daughters and their familiar (14 total). We selected the King Triton's Palace home as our lodging for the week because of the "themed" rooms. This is not the first time we have rented a "disney area pool villa." But it is by far the best rental home experience we have had. Upon the arrival, the house was very clean. My wife is a "stickler" for cleanliness. She commented that the house even smelled clean when we walked in. The house matches the owner's description and photos. If anything, the home is far better than the pictures depict! The home furnishings are in good condition and are high quality. One brief example of quality is the pool area furniture - where most rental units have decent PVC outdoor furniture, this owner has an abundance of superior commercial-grade chairs and lounges. Since I've mentioned the pool - you will enjoy this home's pool!!! My family lived in the solar heated pool when not at the Disney parks. There is a decent amount or privacy landscaping around the pool enclosure. And there is a semi-fenced area with quality playground gear just outside the pool enclosure. Unfortunately we didn't use that feature too much. Also a nice BBQ for grilling (which we did use). The kitchen has everything necessary and more. Tons of plates, cups, utensils (with a whole cupboard filled just with kid's themed plates, etc). Even an electric griddle! Top-quality appliances. There are entertainment features galore in this home that we loved. Bookshelves in the kid's rooms filled with books. A multi-arcade game machine in the family room (big favorite for us). Multiple large flat-panel TV's with great cable selections). An amazing home theater with surround sound, blue-ray, and reclining theater seating. We had the opportunity to use the owner's maintenance team once. The pool alarm was being a bit funky and wouldn't always turn off. They arrived to fix the problem promptly and were super friendly. Formosa Gardens is amazingly quiet - large homes on big lots. Close to all necessary stores and minutes to Disney. Communication with the owner, Debbie, (pre-trip, during, and post-trip) was always responsive and pleasant. I absolutely recommend this rental home. My only hesitation with giving this glowing review is that an increase in the bookings may make it harder for me to book a repeat visit! Thanks Debbie and team for a great stay!

Fabulous!

Date of Stay: 02/18/12 Review Submitted: 03/06/12

We had the greatest time here, we were a group of six adults and eight kids ages 8 and under and still had plenty of space. The home was in a lovely gated neighborhood, close to Disney, neat, spotless and very nicely decorated with high quality furnishings...the kids bedrooms were very tastefully done. Everything was modern, clean and updated. The pool was perfect for all ages - hot tub was great and the shallow end (less than a foot deep) was perfect for the little ones. I was initially worried about kids wandering off to the pool but the pool alarm system was foolproof so no need to worry. Tons of kid friendly amenities - lego table, air hockey, pac man arcade, stollers, high chairs and boosters, pack n plays, movies, cups, plates, integrated low profile baby gates (can barely see them if you don't use them), etc - everything you would need, but none of it was intrusive if adults would be renting the home without kids. Two dryers were much appreciated, as were the numerous pool towels. Lots of extra linens and towels. The four master bedrooms were great (one with full wooden crib). There have been updates the photos don't reflect, like bigger tvs in some of the rooms. Plenty of dining space and chairs by the pool. Supermarkets and Walgreen's and even a Target are nearby for necessities. Plenty of storage space for groceries, large pantry, tons of cabinet space and kitchen utensils/pots/pans for large group cooking. I'm not sure I can add much more to what has already been said in other reviews, but this home was really fabulous. Our security deposit was returned quickly. Debbie was SO great and accomodating, as was her local property manager. I would (and have already) recommended this home to friends, and we would definitely return. My kids are already asking when we can go back.

A Very Merry Christmas @ King Triton's Palace

Guest: Carolyn R.
Date of Stay: 11/26/11 Review Submitted: 12/04/11

This year our Christmas gift to our kids was a memory that will last a life time. A vacation at Disney and King Triton's Palace. Arrived at King Triton's Palace, Formosa Gardens for our 2011 family Christmas. The description does not do this home justice. We had a magical Christmas stay and celebrated two birthdays while there. In our party - me and my husband (55,56) our three sons and their families. Ages ranging from late 30's to a infant (6 weeks old). Total in our party was 13. This home has everything -five star bedding, lego table (which was a hit for the little ones(ages 1,3,4,& 8) Not to mention, the hot tub and pool. Challanges on the arcade, which includes Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Frogger and many more games. By the way, the top score is mine (just kidding) it is my 30 year old son's)The pictures on the internet are nice but it offers so much more. The only problem was trying to get everyone out of the house to make the parks!(They didn't want to leave) Stayed on-site before but never again. Didn't have to wait for buses to take you to your resort, just grab a tram and back home in no time at all. We cooked breakfast every morning, grilled burgers by the pool-totally awesome. Super Target minutes away-Market Place just down the street a little expensive. The home was clean and well maintained. We highly recommend this home. Our seven day stayed included The Magical Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Downtown Disney. Went to Beaches and Cream for a birthday blast. (ordered a dish called "Everything but the Kitchen Sink", a must see! My favorite restaurant "Red Lobster" two minutes away. The only thing missing was a Christmas Tree :( We also went to a couple of shows that we highly recommend, The Hoop-de-doo Review and A Very Merry Christmas. WOW is the best way to describe our stay and we will be back.

We had an absolute blast at this house. It was very clean and the whole family loved it. We had all 3 of our boys and two of their families and one with two of his friends and the grandbabies. Our granddaughter just loved all of the book racks in the house. She is only 2 but loves to read. Our grandson loved the video game in the living area. Our other youngest grandson loved the baby bouncy seat. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. It has everything you can think of for vacation with family. You do not need anything for children or babies, they have it all. (sip cups, crib, seats, strollers, toys, playyard set, etc.) If you are looking for a very clean, nice, convenient to disney, place to stay then THIS IS THE PLACE!!!! Thank you for sharing your home.

Amazing Rental Home

Date of Stay: 07/09/11 Review Submitted: 07/20/11

Our family just finished up a stay at King Triton's Palace on 7/16/11. This house is amazing!! We had two families for a total of 11 people (8 adults and 4 kids under 11). Never once did we fell crowded. Everything was just as described and bigger than the pics show. It was very well maintained and clean. It is truly right off of 192 but be aware that the 3 mile drive to Disney can take upwards of 20 minutes with traffic. That said, it is still very convient to all area Orlando parks and many restaurants. The house is also very well equiped if you have babies or toddlers. They had a pack and play, a full size crib, bouncy seat, lots of baby toys & books. The pool even has a whole section about 12" deep that can act as a splash pool for little ones while others swim in the main body of the pool. Each bedroom came with a large closet with built in shelving and drawers. The kitchen had everything you could want if you are cooking. Even a ton of kid friendly plates, and even sippy cups for the little ones. There was also one HE washer and 2 HE dryers. An arcade machine and air hockey table were also available for everyone in our party to enjoy. The TV in both the living room and master king near the pool both were flat screen. Debbie and her local representative were very responsive when we told them that the pool door had a minor opening in the screen. It was fixed the very next day. Best of all we had our security deposit back within 4 days of checking out! I can't say enough postive things about this house. We only wish we could have booked two weeks so that we would have time for the parks and to just hang out at the house. Truly an amazing place!!

King Triton's Palace

Guest: Grammy Gloria (Canonsburg, PA)
Date of Stay: 05/15/11 Review Submitted: 06/07/11

Our stay at King Triton's Palace was wonderful! They have thought of everything a vacationer would need, especially those traveling with young children. My grandchildren were thrilled with their character bedrooms and baths. We had no trouble getting them down to sleep, because they were so excited to be in their fantasy rooms. The lego table, along with the supply of books and other toys certainly kept them busy. I'm a real stickler for cleanliness and usually dread staying in places away from home. I was so pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and maintenance of the home. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need from a cookout to a formal dinner party. The adult bedrooms were very luxurious and comfortable. Since they all had adjoining baths and closets, they provided the privacy and comfort of your own suite area. The pool was perfect for everyone. The depth of water in the large tail of the fish worked so well for small children to play and the adults loved the hot tub area, especially after a long day at Disneyworld. The alarm system on the doors to the pool alleviated any worry with small children. We also appreciated the convenience to every shopping need, restaurants, and a very quick jaunt to Disney. We have already recommended this beautiful home to relatives who are planning a Disney trip and will look forward to another stay when we visit Disney again!

Date of Stay: 02/12/11 Review Submitted: 05/01/11

We stayed at King Triton's Palace, meeting my brother's family from Minnesota there, so we had 4 kids 4 adults total. The house was gorgeous, huge and immaculate, and did I mention huge? We could have easily fit twice as many people. As it was, each family had plenty of privacy and plenty of space to enjoy together by the pool, playing games/Legos, cooking at the BBQ, playgym outside. Total luxury and comfort. The location was even better than I expected. We were just around the corner and down the road from the DisneyWorld entrance, and that road is filled with grocery/drug stores and every kind of restaurant you might crave, from Red Lobster to Dunkin Donuts to Bob Evans. We enjoyed being at Disney, but it was so wonderful at the house we almost preferred being home - and even our kids (age 4 and 5) said their favorite part of the trip was the pool! (Well, at least the money on the HOUSE was well spent! *g*)

My family and I stayed at this lovely home in June,2010. I could not have made a better choice. We had 13 people from 4 months to 60 years old and everyone enjoyed the exceptional home. There was nothing missing that anyone needed. The pool is gorgeous, the bedrooms are well done and the kitchen is completely stocked with anything a person would want. The neighborhood is quiet and safe and located very close to all of the Disney parks and attractions. I only wish that I was still there.

Our Stay at King Triton's Palace

Guest: Carolyn J. (Bay City, Michigan)
Date of Stay: 03/13/10 Review Submitted: 03/24/10

My entire family just returned from a wonderful week at King Triton's Palace. The experience can be described in one word--WOW! Every amenity was exactly as described, and traveling with eight adults and six children was very easy thanks to Debbie's planning which included dishes, toys, games, strollers, and whatever was needed by a family. All the beach towels were even provided for our use. Our family included two grandparents, six parents, and six children ages 10, 6, 6, 4, 3, and 3 months. This house is VERY convenient to all of the Disney parks, and our grandchildren absolutely loved the pool while their parents appreciated the hot tub after a day in the parks. The four master suites were great for the adults, and the kids loved all the Disney-themed bedrooms for them. The house was very clean and located in a safe gated community. I would HIGHLY recommend King Triton's Palace to anyone attending Disney World. It was so much better than being stuck in hotel rooms for seven days! Debbie is a real delight to work with and was helpful in answering any questions and concerns.

Our stay in King Triton's Palace could not have been better! It is just a few minutes' drive from Disney. The beds are so-o-o comfortable! Our 5 grandchildren ages 4 to 10 enjoyed this home so much that they often begged to stay there rather than go to Disney!! We all loved the theatre room. This home has top-quality furnishings and is immaculate. We highly recommend it!!

Our family had a wonderful time staying at King Triton's Place. There were 4 adults and 5 kids, including teenagers, and we were all very comfortable and pleased. Not only was the house clean and well kept but it had all the amenities we expected and more. Families with young children would be particularly interested in renting this home. The house supplied a crib, safety gate for the stairs, high chair and lots of toys, books and games geared toward small children. Our older kids loved the air hockey game and we all enjoyed the comfort of the theater room. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and each room was nicely decorated. Communication with the home's owner was always professional and pleasant. Our local contact was accessible and helpful during our stay. I would highly recommend this property to others.

Look no further for the perfect vacation home!

Date of Stay: 10/03/09 Review Submitted: 10/15/09

Thank you for providing us such a wonderful home for our vacation week! This is our 5th time renting different homes near Orlando and we do not have to look any further for the perfect home for future vacations! We have never been in a home more well-equipped. Each and every room was perfect. We did not need a thing that was not provided for in the home. The pool was so perfect for our grandchildren. They loved it and the shallow end of the fishtail was great for the babies. We were so surprised to see the game room had been renovated to a home theater – that was the icing on the cake for our ‘bigger’ kids! We checked out each and every bedroom and bathroom, all the closets (I wish I had that kind of room in my own home) and all the cabinet space. The videos, toys, Lego table, the video arcade game, just everything was so very perfect. The house was very clean; the décor of the home is impeccable – what a fantastic job of providing for others to use this home for their vacation needs. I loved the Formosa Garden neighborhood area and the safety of the entire place. I love that the house in on a cul-de-sac, and so very private. The pool area left me speechless. We bought inflatables and noodles for the pool. We acclimated ourselves to the alarm system and I felt totally safe and secure in the knowledge that the kids would be just fine in that gorgeous pool. My ‘big’ boys loved the lakes and fished in them (we ran to Walmart to get 4 fishing poles for them to use) and they caught big fish on the ‘catch and release' policy of the area. We were able to cook lunches and dinners for the entire group on the grill that you provide. Dishes, pots, pans, kids dishes that they loved to eat on everyday, sippie cups - how did you do it! The rack of beach towels, the washer and 2 dryers – we loved it all. Every night our kids would joke about the beds and how they had to climb up into them, but the comfort level made my one son want to buy a set of those exact mattresses. The little kids loved their themed bedrooms and how much fun they were to sleep in. Being only minutes away from all parks was wonderful! The nearby restaurants and grocery stores were another bonus that we took advantage of. The owner provided us with the best customer service. The house is everything you see advertised on the website - plus more! Again - our thanks for a beautiful home that made our vacation perfect.

We loved the house! The 6 and 8 year olds prefered the house and the pool to Disney World. This was the perfect vacation because we enjoyed the parks for five hours a day and then came back to the house to relax, swim and spend time together. There is plenty for everyone to do at the house and there is enough space even for our extended family. Vacationing with children, you don't want to be in a hotel room when you have a wonderful option like this. Having a crib and the strollers was an added bonus. Debbie is very nice and very helpful! I recommend this house to anyone traveling to the area.

We just returned from a fabulous stay at King Triton's. The home is spacious and even with 7 adults and 6 children we had plenty of space. This is a very well appointed home with young families in mind. Strollers, pack n plays, toys, books and videos were all provided. Having a computer with internet to check out theme park hours or restaurant phone numbers was a huge plus. And Formosa Garden Estates is the best located neighborhood to the attractions possible. We'll definitely stay at King Triton's again! Thank you, Debbie!

The details as stated on the website are accurate. This is a lovely, spacious house with a great pool and hot tub and play equipment for the youngsters. It is well maintained and very clean. The owner and agent are accessible and most responsive. The house is located near grocery stores, pharmacies and a good variety of eateries. If you are visiting Disney World, it is a 20-minute drive to any park. You will thoroughly enjoy staying at this property.

We stayed here over the Christmas break in 2008 with 9 adults and 4 children. The house is exactly as it is pictured and described on the website. We had a wonderful time - the house is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed (including strollers and baby monitors)! We had planned on doing this trip as a once in a lifetime vacation with our families but we had so much fun here that we booked it again for the Christmas break 2010! It is a fantastic house in a great location!

We had a wonderful time staying for a week at King Triton's Palace. It's a terrific house for family gatherings, and even better equipped than we were expecting. I think everyone in our party was impressed. If you have young kids, there is no better place to stay - children's books, toys, movies, games, equipment (strollers, high chairs, booster seats, kid's dinnerware, etc.). We were thoroughly impressed by the house's ammenities - even better than the listing suggests. It was so much nicer staying at this house over any hotel. It's convenient to all the Disney parks - no more than 15 minutes to the Magic Kingdom transit area, and even less to Epcot, Disney Studios, and Animal Kingdom. It's very convenient to a grocery store (only a couple minute drive) and many restaurants to choose from. Our group included 9 adults and 4 children under 5 years old. The house was spacious, and we didn't feel crowded at all. My 5 year old daughter has already informed us that the next time we go to Disney we will need to stay in that house again, and my 2 year old usually is excited to be home after a trip, but was screaming when we walked into our house because he wanted to go the the other house instead.

Great Rental Property

Family Fun

My family and I stayed in this wonderful home over February school vacation. It was a very beautiful home which exceeded our expectations. My nephew was thrilled with the Buzz light year room and the lego table. Forget Disney when you can play all day. My young daughter were in awe at the Cinderella room when can you actually sleep in a castle. There were also books galore grammy and grampy couldn't read enough stories. The pool was fabulous and great for all ages the young ones were able to run around the fish tail while the older kids played in the fish body and us old folks soaked in the top fin (hot tub). The gated community made us feel safe and it was fun to walk at night in the warm air. The home is also close to disney and every restaurant you can imagine. This is a wonderful home for young and old. We had a great time. I would highly recommend this beautiful home.
