The Bennett House in Green Turtle is truly a piece of paradise.You can reach Green Turtle Cay by a 1 hour flight from W. Palm, Ft. Lauderdale or Miami. You fly into Treasure Cay,catch a cab to the Ferry Dock(5 Min. ride) and ride to Green Turtle by ferry boat which runs every hour. They drop you off at the Benson dock where you can get your rented golf cart and you are met by our caretaker who will get you to the house and answer any of your questions and also check on you during your stay.
This is a pivately owned home and sleeps 6 (max.). There are 3 bedrooms and 2 baths.On the first floor is the living area with the den, dining, kitchen, laundry, 1 bedroom (with a queeen size bed) and full bath with shower.The 2nd floor has 2 bedrooms( the master with a king size bed and the bunkroom with a full size on the bottom and twin on top) and a full bath with shower.
The house is very modern and clean and has all the comforts of home! We have central heat/air, 2 TV's (one for VCR and the other for satellite TV).There is a stereo system with an Ipod adapter and DVD player.All linens/beach towels are furnished. We also have a VHF radio for calling others on the island.There is a gas grill outside for those who want to cook but Green Turtle has some great local restaurants.
You can snorkel and/or fish out the back door! We have a hammock on the beach for relaxing.
Probably what we hear the most from the folks who stay there is how much they "love our screened back porch". We are on the oceanside of the island and are directly on the beach and the Atlantic Ocean. Nothing but white sand.....
Most of our rentals are from Saturday-Saturday. May 1 - Aug. 15 are a 7 night minimum.
