The "Hula House" is a fun get away in a very central location. Just off of 95 and Davie Blvd, the Hula House is only a $20 cab ride from the Ft. Lauderdale airport and is exactly 2 miles from downtown Ft. Lauderdale. Downtown is where you'll find the Art Museum, Science Museum, Imax, Movie Theater, Art Galleries, Cafés, Restaurants, Night Life, & shopping.
Hula house has 3 bedrooms, 1 full bath & a sleeper sofa. The master bedroom is the tiki room, it has a Queen size bamboo canopy bed with a walk in closet. The sliding glass door opens onto a private deck with your own private hammock. The disco room has a queen size bed and walk in closet. It is themed disco with classic disco LPs on the wall, a zebra shoe chair, vintage posters and of course a Lava lamp. The safari room overlooks the pool and has a full size bed and a twin size bed. The walls are decorated with "plush" animal mounts and fun animal prints. Each room has their own TV, and alarm clocks.
The backyard is very tropical sporting a large pool, tiki bar, hammock, plenty of seating, and 32 foot dock. The canal flows out to the Atlantic ocean with no fixed bridges blocking the way. You could bring a sailboat up to the dock with no problem.
The Living room has a leather sectional with 2 swivel chairs focused on the TV unit. The dining area opens out to the pool area. The kitchen is modern with a dishwasher, microwave oven, stove, side by side fridge with ice maker. Outdoor cooking is done by the gas grill. There is also a small fridge by the bar outside.
Other amenities include a washer & drier, desktop computer with wifi, playstation 2 & DVD player connected to living room TV.
The central location of Hula House makes it ideal for vacationers with a tight schedule. Just 1 block off 95 puts you minutes from great destinations like: Hard Rock Casino, Boomers, Down Town, Beach Place, Sawgrass Mall, Galleria Mall, Las Olas, Movie Theaters, and more. Only thirty minus from South Beach and Boca Raton.

Why the Owner Chose Riverside Park
I fell in love with this house because of its central location and secluded feel. Its close to everything, but you don't feel the presence of the city. Being from the Keys it was important for me to have an oasis that I could retreat to but still have access to the city. I hold season tickets to the theater and I could ride my bike to the Broward Center from the Hula House if I wanted.
