Three air-conditioned bedrooms complete with private adjoining bathrooms ensure restful sleep with the sounds of the surf breaking outside your windows. Two of the bedrooms each have two twin beds, pushed together to form king-size beds. The third bedroom has a full-size futon mattress and frame. Also includes living room, galley kitchen, pantry and dining room with seats for 6. Villa sleeps 6 total.
The fenced yard adds privacy and a sense of home, with Caribbean Ocean views and breezes from nearly all windows. Tropically-inspired color scheme adds to the overall charm and comfort of the Island Breeze villa. Enjoy your meals in front of wall-sized windows with an ocean view, or dine outside on a picnic table or under the home's new pergola. Outdoor shower is perfect for cooling off or washing the sand from your feet. Colorful, comfortable hanging hammock chairs provide a place to relax and read a book in the shade during the heat of the day. In the evenings, enjoy spectacular sunsets as you sip a rum cream or other Jamaican drink, appreciating the natural beauty of this unspoiled location.
The villa's rental is $150 per day and includes the housekeeper Miss Jasmine graciously provides her services of cooking and serving meals, shopping and tending to the household, making arrangements for day trips and dining at your request. Costs for food are separate and the owners ask that you tip the housekeeper a minimum of $15 a day or 15 percent of the total rental bill.
The beach is white sand and stretches for miles unimpeded. The beach cabana is just 20 yards from the house, and is a wonderful place hook up a hammock chair and watch the surf roll in.
The quaint Duncans Bay Fisherman's Village is just down the beach. A working fisherman's port, you can pick up the catch-of-the-day or order some freshly-caught live lobster. The village also features LeRoy's Beach Bar - a favorite waterfront hangout that offers live Reggae music on weekends.
