My husband and I arranged this family trip, which consisted of a both moms, a step father and brother. We all were looking to relax and check out of busy lives for a week. The location of this place couldn't be more perfect. The water was clear with a sandy bottom. We absolutely loved the screened in porch. The furniture was retro and fun. The kitchen was great. We love to cook and couldn't be happier with the kitchen's functionality. We would come back in a heartbeat.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

Owner info
About the owner: The cottage has been in the family for over 20 years and is owned by the O’Neill siblings. Our mother was the founder and original owner of La Becasse restaurant locate in Burdickville, MI, one mile south of the cottage. We have been working and summering in the area since 1979, we are orginally from B'ham, MI. Mary & Ellen O’Neill purchased Laker Shakes (Burdickville Market)located across from La Becasse in Aug. 08 and are enjoying being part of the community, come-on in for an ice cream!! Our cottage was built in the 1940's and is considered a historical cottage, and we have kept the integrity of the property while offering modern conveniences. There is nothing better than sitting on the screened in front porch looking out at the lake!!
