Small cottage on Lake Michigan in between North Muskegon and Whitehall. We are just minutes away from Whitehall, which offers quaint shopping, a bicycle trail, and many dining choices. We are walking distance to the Red Rooster Tavern, and also just a short distance from Michigan's Adventure amusement park, and Whitehall Lighthouse and Museum, Muskegon State Park and Winter Sports Complex.
Cottage is fully furnished, including microwave, washer/dryer, TV, DVD/VCR, cable, WiFi, gas grill, and coffee maker. Also provided for your convenience are linens, towels, and beach chairs.
The main bedroom has a full size bed, and the smaller bedroom has bunk beds. The sofa in the living room converts to a full size bed.

We rented this property from 7/31/11-8/7/11. We found it to be very clean, well-stocked, and well-maintained. It is smaller but cozy. The view from the top of the bluff looking down to the lake and the beach itself are wonderful. Can walk for a long direction in either direction and not see anyone during the week. Stairs to the beach would be difficult for someone elderly or handicapped. We brought our 2 little dogs and didn't have to put them on their leashes the entire time--other dog owners were very friendly. But don't worry--you wouldn't know there had ever been a pet in the cottage or outside because everything was so clean. Don't miss going into Whitehall to the Dog'n'Suds.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+.

I hate to do this for fear of the bookings increasing so much I can't stay here in the future. This VRBO is excellent! A perfect little retreat. Quiet, private and on Lake Michigan. Did I mention the view? The first thing about the cottage that struck me was it iconic lake cottage appearance from the exterior. The first thing that struck me inside was the scent of fresh linens. The cottage was immaculant, cozy and had everything one needs for very comfortable stay. I would reccond to anyone wanting a relaxing vacation near the water.

We stayed here right before the summer, late spring. The weather was beautiful and the cottage just absolutely wonderful. Everything was so clean& comfortable, especially the bed. It is great when you get away and actually get a cofortable bed. The whole house was very well stocked, even towels, linens, beach chairs. Everything you need for a wonderful vacation, just bring your swim suit, suntan oil, and some change of clothes. The walk down to the beach is not overwhelming. Actually it is so very nice to be on a little bluff for a beautiful view of the lake and sunsets away from the sun and water. Nice little town nearby that even has an organic store with even a deli (gluten free foods also if you have that need).This is a great place for a romantic getaway!!! But, also would be an excellent place to come with the family. Very Nice!!!
