This may be the only house in Stone Harbor where you can enjoy beautiful bay sunsets and view the ocean from second floor bedrooms. This house is only a short walk to the beach. It is located in the quiet southern end of Stone Harbor and is a one mile walk or bike ride to town. This is a traditional style house with ample living space that sleeps 12 and has 3 full bathrooms.
There are three decks where you can enjoy summer breezes and views. Two are off the back of the house overlooking the bay and wetlands. The partially-covered first floor deck allows people to entertain guests, enjoy sunset dinners, and also has plenty of space to lie out and enjoy the summer sun! The third deck is located near the bedrooms and gives a quiet area for people to read, relax, nap, and enjoy the summer weather. The house has a two car garage with plenty of beach and bay amenities available.
The location of this house gives renters the benefit of having “THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS”, meaning there are plenty of activities to do on the bay while only having a short TWO block walk to enjoy the beach. Some of the Bay activities include kayaking, sailing, fishing, crabbing, or just swimming in the warmer waters of the bay. The south-end location is also the widest section of the beach in Stone Harbor. This space provides an opportunity for families to spread out and enjoy the beach to its fullest. The beach on 117th Street is a boogie boarding, rafting, bodysurfing, and swimming beach. Only a few beaches in Stone Harbor provide this combination.
After a long day of activities on the beach or the bay, rinse off in the outdoor shower to refresh yourselves before dinner!
