Why the Owner Chose Ensenada
This is by far one of the most beautiful areas in the world. Located on arguably the most amazing beach on the planet, no crowds, no loud tourists. Unlike many beaches in Northern Mexico when the tide is in there is no beach, just rocks--not here! just white pristine sand! A gated safe community with 24 hour aroung the clock security gives us peace of mind.So remote but just a half hour from the excitement of Ensenada. Also water sports, horseback riding, golf and tennis is minutes away. Our friends love to snorkle and scubba dive, the Bufadora is 10 minutes fron the house and arguably is one of the best areas in Northern Mexico to enjoy that sport.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Quiet enjoyment, long walks on the beach, bird watching, The most amazing view from the living room and bedrooms that I have ever seen in all my years of traveling. The upstairs deck is surrounded on all side by water and with that 360 degree view of the ocean and bay I personally have never seen anything like it in my travels. The water is safe for my 5 daughters and their kids, the waves are gentle and the beach is very safe. This is paradise, the only problem with it is when I have to leave.

Loved our stay in this beautiful home. It was the perfect size for our family of 10. The view of the ocean was breathtaking. When sitting indoors, you still felt very much like you were outside, right there on your own private beach. The kids, too, enjoyed their little private sandy area directly in front of the house for sunbathing. My favorite part, though, was gathering around the large oceanside patio table for dinner and watching the sun set over the Pacific.

We had the pleasure of staying in this house from July 14th to July 18th 2011. The drive from San Diego was a breeze and the toll road was beautiful and safe to travel on. We woke up our first morning and watched about 20 dolphins swimming by in front of the house - it was amazing! The beach was very private and we felt as if we had it all to ourselves. We found sand dollars on the beach, went horseback riding on the beach in front of the house and the guys went paraflying right from the beach directly in front of the house. We felt completely safe and left the windows and doors open at night to let in the cool ocean breeze. The view from the house is just breathtaking - there's water all around you in the front and the back and the neighbors are very nice and friendly. We shopped at the local markets and made breakfast every morning before we went exploring. Everything at the house was was clean and comfortable and we felt right at home there. We explored everywhere from La Bufadora to downtown Ensenada and we never once felt unsafe. We can't wait to go back and bring our kids with us next time.

This property is a delight. My family, friends and I have been several times, and keep coming back for more. You'd be hard pressed to find this kind of beauty or serenity for any price, let alone the price that is now available. The house is goregeous, having been recently refurbished. It sits right on the water with nothing between you and beach. The beach and views are just spectacular. Highly recommended.

This beachfront rental home was a wonderful place for our family reunion in august 2010. Only a few hours drive from LA , it was easily accessible for everyone coming from all over the country. The house was very comfortably furnished and offered all the amenities for a very relaxing week. The beach is truly spectacular and the sunsets were glorious. The only disappointment was the hot tub was not functioning but we did enjoy the outdoor fire pit.

Thanks to the owner for an awesome time, walks on the amazing beach, sunset were outrageous, the view from the house of the ocean and beach was out of a travel magazine. The photo on the website doesn't do this house justice. The house was very clean and the little touches from the maid service made us feel as though we were staying at the Ritz Carlton. I loved the Wifi, something that you don't usually get in Mexico. The shopping was great, we even went to Ensenada and shopped at Costco. Yea! I felt at home. We needed this romantic get-a-way, and by gosh we got it!!

It pains me to write this review because the owner was so helpful pre-arrival, really a great guy. The sign out front said that the home had been built in 1991 and from the condition of the rental, I looked as if nothing had been done since then. The doors leaked water, the roof leaked water (we set out pans for them), the backporch didn't drain, visable black mold in the bedrooms and bathrooms (the bathroom stank of mold), only one working shower (for five bedrooms), limited cookware and to seal the deal a coffee maker with no coffee pot. They did have a perk machine circa 1972 but it made really bad coffee. No dish towels, toilet paper, washclothes, limited towels, sticky floors, papertowels, riped and torned funiture. This place had everything. I usually have my buddy down there check places out before I rent. I thought this was a safe bet since the owner is the president of the home owners association and really was a sweet guy but I got taken. Don't let it happen to you.
