We have a great deck off the back of the house that is nestled in the trees. Grill your favorite food on our outdoor charcoal grill.
Our home is great for a couples getaway or family gathering. We have had wedding,bridal and baby showers and birthday parties. You will feel very relaxed and comfortable in our lake front home.
Launch your boat at the Lakeway Marina and park your trailer at the house. Keep your boat at our new dock which is in a protected cove just off the main body of Lake Travis.

This was a great weekend retreat for us. The home has plenty of sleeping space, towels, plates, etc. and the deck provided additional dining and gathering space for our family gathering. We had 8 adults and 5 kids with us ranging from 6-15. My only concern was with the kids, the back decent to the cove was STEEP and I was worried about them playing out back. We blocked off the deck though and had no worries - we could see them clearly from the interior of the house as the glass windows/wall provided great sunlight and easy observation.The driveway was steep, but we had no problem parking 4 cars at the house. The owners of the house are friendly and very accomodating. I would recommend this house for people who have teenagers and adults.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

This house was a fantastic surprise. Conveniently located to golf and boat rentals. The house had so much room and provided all of the necessities. The deck was also an excellent place to spend the evening. Would definitely rent again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children.

We really enjoyed the lakehouse this past weekend! It was beautiful and clean, and we were surprised to find all the "little extras", like the bug spray and pantry staples. We are considering another stay this summer. Everything was wonderful!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

We stayed 3 nights at this house and found it was perfect for our group. The house is pretty much what I expected from the pictures and description--loved the kitchen and huge table, perfect for large groups. Was very clean and well-kept, though some of the appliances were older. Loved the open layout of the kitchen/living room. We thought the location was excellent--very central to everything and situated in a nice neighborhood. In my opinion, the best part of the house is the deck. What a great spot to sit out and enjoy the weather and the view. Though we didn't have a boat, the dock was great simply for laying out. Luckily this year the lake is full and the water was pretty deep. The owner was easy to deal with and I thought the price was very reasonable for what you get and the location (though we just barely missed summer season). I would highly recommend this house and would even love to stay there again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children.

The house was clean and laid out well for large groups. You can easily seat and serve 10 around the kitchen table. Everything was in working order. Steep driveway into the place and little actual yard so focus is on the house and lake. The description says "Waterfront" - we've had a drought here and this cove has been hit hard. The dock sits on gravel and the actual water is now a few houses down. This was not an issue for us (winter golf weekend), but ask before you confirm. Steep set of steps down to the where the water would have been and no hand rail at the end. All in all though, a good base of operations for our purposes. Note on the experience vs. the house. Renting process was fairly straightforward. However, no one there at check-in or check out, so make sure you do a good walk through before and after to avoid any "differences of opinion". In our case, exterior damage was reported us a week after we left.Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing.

the two best features for our family were the very large kitchen table and the 5-bed bunk room. Also loved the fireplace and the deck.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.

This was a wonderful vacation home with beautiful views. Deck overlooked secluded cove, and the area was very peaceful. I would definately rent this property again. Works well for group of friends, or a group of couples. The only issue I could see would be small children. Home does have some 5-8 ft drops by the back patio, but should not be an issue if children are monitored properly. Very clean. Nice furniture. Satellite Radio was a nice feature.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This is a wonderful house! The house was just what we were looking for with plenty of room for 9 adults. The dock is perfect if you are bringing a boat or if you just want a place to swim, but be prepared for a lot of stairs. I would definitely stay here again!Did you find this review helpful? We had a great time. The house was very clean, had all of the amenities you need, plenty of beds, great location. We will defiantly stay again. Owner was very easy to deal with, great communications.
