Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
We have been vacationing in New Smyrna Beach for about 14 years - since our girls were little. In 2004, the opportunity arose to purchase a home in the neighborhood we always rented in. Three days later, it was destroyed by a hurricane . . . then was hit by two more (thank you Jeanne, Charley, and Francis). If you're familiar with NSB, it was the dome home that looked like a big, brown golf ball. :) The damage was beyond repair, so we tore everything down, started all over, and completed new construction in December 2007. We live in Atlanta, and try to get to New Smyrna as often as we can. We absolutely love it, and hope you do, too!
The Unique Benefits at this House
We enjoy New Smyrna because it is still pretty much the same town it was 14 years ago. We love the local restaurants, art shows, farmer's market, shopping - you name it. And, of course, the beach. I grew up in Colorado, so I'm fascinated with the ocean. And, watching the sun rise is breathtaking!
