This ninth floor beachfront condo offers panoramic ocean and beach views from Point Loma to La Jolla from the moment you walk in the door -- guaranteed to relax and refresh you! Views of downtown San Diego from the rooftop terrace only add to the 'WOW!' factor.
Take a ride on one of our beach cruiser bikes (available upon request) on the boardwalk right outside your door! Use the bike locks when you find that perfect spot on the beach to lay out on our huge comfy beach towels while watching the kids make sand castles with all of our beach toys, or head out to the surf with the boogie boards (also available upon request)! We have thought of everything you could want or need to fully enjoy your San Diego beach vacation!
Securely located in Capri By The Sea, San Diego’s only beachfront high-rise, this large one bedroom, one bath condo has been freshly updated from top to bottom, with everything from new paint to new fixtures. In addition to cable tv and high-speed wireless internet, we left behind lots of books, videos and board games for you. There’s even a telescope by the floor-to-ceiling windows for scanning the starry sky at night AFTER taking in the breathtaking sunset from the living room.
Two queen beds in the bedroom and a queen sofa bed in the living room. Quality linens included, right down to the beach towels. A fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to choose to eat in, though the dozens of restaurants and cafes along the boardwalk or within close walking range will tempt you otherwise.
The condo also includes shared use of a coin-operated full-size washer/dryer, gated underground parking, 24-hour security guarded lobby, a heated swimming pool and separate hot tub, sauna, and the rooftop terrace!
All the outdoor and beach activities you could want are just outside your door! Take surfing lessons, go kayaking, hike or golf Torrey Pines. Take in one or all of the local Southern California attractions. Within minutes you’ll be at SeaWorld, the famous San Diego Zoo, Birch Aquarium, Balboa Park, the Gaslamp Quarter, UCSD, and more. Many restaurants, shops, stores and tourist places can be reached without a car! A short drive can take you to Legoland, the Wild Animal Park, Quail Botanical Gardens, south to Mexico or north to Orange County (and Disneyland!).
PLEASE NOTE: Capri is a non-smoking, no pets building -- we cannot make exceptions. Our vacation home is perfect for couples and small families who want a great vacation or getaway spot right on the beach; it is NOT a party house nor suitable for large groups. My husband and I stayed here in April 2011. We found the condo comfortable, clean, and in good condition, with a well-equipped kitchen. That's important to us because we always do some cooking at home when renting a condo. The BR has two queen beds, rather than a king-size, which we considered a drawback, but they were comfortable. The location is great - you overlook the beach and there are flocks of seagulls flying past the big windows all the time. You're close to lots of restaurants, grocery stores, etc. You take the elevator downstairs, walk a few minutes, and you're on the beach. Another drawback is lack of a terrace, but when you open the big sliding doors, you bring the outdoors in. The rental agent, Roweena, was incredibly helpful. We found it a very restful place to spend a few days, and only wished we were staying longer. Great for two people, might feel crowded with more.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+.

My mom and I went to San Diego for a "girls' trip" and stayed at Rowena's condo. It was great! Just steps to the ocean. It was very well maintained and clean. Rowena was very hospitable as well. She met us at the condo to show us around. She also gave us a welcome gift of fresh bread, brie, chocolates and a bottle of wine. We really could not have asked for a better place to stay or a better host. We highly recommend her condo and will be looking to stay there again in the future.

My husband and I had a wonderful vacation in this incredible oceanfront condo. From the roof of the complex, we could watch 4 different sets of 4th of July fireworks. Rowena made our visit even more special by having treats available for us upon arrival which was a blessing because we were too tired to go to the market. We enthusiastically recommend this lovely condo to anyone interested in watching and hearing the beautiful surf at Pacific Beach. We're certainly going to return! Thank you, Rowena for a great visit!

We travel several times a year and this was by far one of the nicest places we have ever stayed! I hesitate to say this because when we decide to go back it will already be booked by those of you who read this comment! The views and sound of the ocean waves were spectacular. We watched dolphins play every morning and the sun set every evening from the comfort of the living room. The boardwalk and beach are right outside your door. Exceptional detail has been given to everything from the paintings on the wall to the comfort of the beds. Rowena, the owner, makes you feel so welcome with the special touches she adds to your arrival. Chocolate candy bars and cookies after 6 hours of airports and flying were such welcome treats!!

The Condo was perfect! Even better than the pictures posted. We laid in the living room with the glass door open listening to the ocean, watching the dolphins and people play on the beach! I have never had a better time, or stayed in a nicer place. It felt like a home away from home. Rowena (owner) is the sweetest. She did everything she could to make our stay the best, way above and beyond! The condo is so perfect we didn't need to go anywhere else. Right on the beach, what more could you ask for? We will be back as soon as possible, and I highly recommend this property or any others she has listed, you will have the BEST vacation EVER!!!!!

My dad and I stayed at this great condo during the Red Bull Air Races. We had fun watching the surfers right from the living room. The telescope made it fun to watch the boats going by, too. We rented segways just down the boardwalk and had breakfast on the beach before the races. There's basically anything you want to eat within walking distance. The condo was very comfortable and felt like home, only better. I hope to stay there again.
