My family and I have been to this rental house a few times now and have thoroughly enjoyed our visits. It is very close to one of our favorite National Parks-Joshua Tree and we find it convenient to stop in after a trip there. The sun roof is one my favorite places to be, where you can get a panoramic view of the valley with breathtaking sunsets.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

Upon arrival there were numerous issues but Lori was very prompt in getting the proper people in the house to get the problems fixed. The house and yard is in dire need of a very thorough cleaning, there is huge potential with the property if some maintenance and upkeep would be done. Would be hesitant to recommend but as previously stated Lori, the owner was very pleasant to deal with.
Owner response:In an effort to address the previous review, we did have some significant issues with renters there before them on an extended stay. We only had 2 days before the February 2010 renters arrived but we worked diligently to correct any problems and went so far as to offer our new renters the option to extend their stay another week at no cost, which they did. Sometimes things happen beyound our control, but we hope we were able to provide our February 2010 renters with a great vacation in the desert! As a side note, we are pulling our house off the rental market for the next month or so to do some already pre-planned upgrades.

We loved our week here. Such a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Minutes from hotsprings. Very pleasant fenced-in back yard. House great just to hang out when we wanted. Great hikes nearby. We'll come back.

We stayed at this rental for the month of Feb. 09 and found it to be very cozy and accommodating. We enjoyed the privacy of having your own yard and going for AM walks in the quiet neighborhood. Beautiful view of the mountains and lots of sunshine.

Although our stay in the Palm Springs area was for health reasons, this small rental made the forced vacation enjoyable. We loved the patio and the view of the "Angel" in the mornings.
