Located in the exclusive Waterside Village in Great Waters, and part of Reynolds Plantation, this immaculate cottage lends itself to life on "the links" quite well. Enjoy the large, screened-in back porch that faces the 9th Hole of Great Waters' award-winning golf course (when you're not playing golf with your own foursome). And for those in your party who are not golfers, the swimming pool,tennis courts, and marina are within a very short walking distance of the cottage.

THE COTTAGE
The large kitchen-great room allows you to cook while having friends and family close by. A gathering table along with counter seating lets you serve a few or a crowd. Open the large doors on the porch to add even more room. Don't have tickets to the football game or golf tournament? The flat-screen TV above the gas fireplace will make you feel like you are a part of the action.
The master suite surrounds you in luxury. After soaking in the slipper tub or showering under the shower's large rainfall fixture, crawl into 400-count sheets on the king-sized bed. The sitting area has a sleeper sofa with queen-sized mattress in case you have extra guests who just can't bear to leave.
With two more bedrooms and a Jack-and-Jill bathroom, this cottage provides plenty of room for everyone of every age.
The cottage has wireless internet and a Wii with several games.
SIGHTS AND ACTIVITIES
The decor shows great attention to detail with an emphasis on golf and fishing, both sports being highly popular on Lake Oconee. Oconee is the second largest lake in Georgia, with a 376-mile shoreline. A shoreline cruise on a rented boat is a wonderful way to see this outdoor jewel. Reynolds Plantation has two full-service marinas and boat rental is available.
Reynolds Plantation also boasts five nationally-acclaimed golf courses. Golf outings can be arranged easily. Just let us know when and where you would like to play.
Venture away from the cottage to the quaint towns of Eatonton, Greensboro and Madison (named Best Small Town in America by Travel Holiday magazine) where you'll find restaurants, antique stores, local museums, shops, historic sites and gourmet groceries. Why the Owner Chose Greensboro
Lake Oconee is a beautiful middle Georgia lake. It has so much shoreline and natural beauty to go along with the wonderful building sites and plantations. It is close enough to Atlanta and Athens to be a comfortable drive, but it is also in the "country" which gives you a sense of really getting away from it all.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage
We are right on the 9th fairway of the Great Waters golf course. Everything is within walking distance or a short drive if you're lazy. The lake is just a few hundred feet from our front door, and there is a paved walkway that seems to go on forever around the shoreline. Fishing from the shore or from the docks is convenient, and you're close enough to the cottage to walk back home. Waterside Village is quiet and off the beaten path, but there are lots of things to do and see. The cottage has a Wii and enough tv's for everyone to watch his own favorite program. The large kitchen and great room provide ample space for entertaining and playing.

My sister and I purchased this wonderful golf cottage in Waterside Village at Great Waters in 2008, did some upgrading (like screening in the large back porch, completely re-doing the master bath), and started enjoying the lake life. Both of our families love to golf and be near water, so this was the perfect spot!
