This convenient, family and dog-friendly two bedroom condo was recently updated including the addition of a new flat screen TV and bedding. It is located in the popular South Forest Beach area of Hilton Head, just minutes from Coligny Plaza shops, restaurants and beaches. Come relax and stay in a light, bright villa with lots of extras provided for your convenience. There are no stairs in or leading to the unit and parking is just outside the front door, making it a great choice for families or retirees. Keep up with work if needed or check e-mail with the high-speed wireless internet connection. You are just minutes from the beach, steps from Hilton Head’s great bike paths and Van Der Meer Tennis Center and a short drive to terrific shopping and dining.
Because the villa is also our vacation home, we’ve paid special attention to detail and equipped it with many family-friendly items to make your vacation easier as well. We treat it as a place to get away, not just a rental property. We’ve provided a beach cart, beach umbrella, beach toys and a couple of chairs so you don’t have to bring them. For those traveling with kids there’s a Pack N Play, a booster seat with tray, one set of bed rails, a step-stool in the bathroom, night lights, kid cups, plates and utensils.
The entry way features a great storage/organizational unit for your shoes, sports equipment, beach towels, jackets, etc. The family room has an upgraded queen sleeper sofa and large coffee table perfect for playing board games. Unwind after an active day on the island by having a movie night or listen to some of your favorite CD’s with the DVD/CD player. If there’s a rainy day, we have 100 cable channels, games, books, puzzles, DVD’s and a wireless internet connection. The kitchen is well equipped and includes a microwave, coffee maker with automatic timer, a spacious pantry and a full-size washer and dryer.
The master bedroom has a queen bed, two spacious closets and a renovated private bath. Enjoy watching TV or a movie in bed with the LCD TV/DVD provided. Down the hall is the 2nd bedroom which has twin beds with new mattresses, large closet and TV/DVD. The guest bath is a renovated full-size bath just outside the 2nd bedroom. There is a small patio with natural landscaping providing a little extra privacy and a good spot to read a book or enjoy a glass of wine.
The villa is an end-unit located in the Island House complex in the South Forest Beach area. The complex has its own large, private fenced-in pool and a bike storage rack for bike rentals. The beach is a little over a block away down the bike/walking path located right outside the entrance to the complex. If you enjoy tennis, the Van Der Meer Tennis Center is located just behind our complex and offers lessons and clinics. Hilton Head has beautiful wide beaches, miles of bike paths, great golf courses, nature preserves and trails, horseback riding, fishing and much more. The island has a lot to offer in the off-season as well - a temperate climate, shopping, theater and music productions, a wine festival, biking, golfing, jogging and tennis. Fly in and out of the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport if needed - it's just 45 minutes away.

Why the Owner Chose Island House
We chose Hilton Head Island because it is an easy drive from our home outside of Atlanta and because it is a very family friendly vacation spot. We like that the island has controlled development and preserved the natural beauty of the island. Besides enjoying the beach, Hilton Head offers many other activities such as golf, tennis, outdoor adventure tours and great shopping. Hilton Head is easy to access from the Savannah airport and there are many options for day trips to explore the low country within a short drive. We love that we can get on our bikes and ride on miles of paved bike paths and ride to shops and restaurants.
The Unique Benefits at this Villa
Our condo is within a mile of Coligny Plaza, which has several shops, restaurants and a grocery store. We are also withing walking distance of the Bi-Lo shopping center, which has two of our favorite restaurants located there - Kenny B's and Wild Wing Cafe. It is only about an 8-10 min. walk from our place down to the sand. We have a grassy area just outside our back door where the kids can play and we can keep an eye on them. Being in a first floor unit without stairs makes packing and unpacking the car easier and is also good for any visiting "snowbird" renters.
Shopping Center with Bi-Lo Grocery Store and multiple restaurants including Wild Wing Cafe and Kenny B's. Close enough to bike or walk!
Beautiful harbour in Sea Pines with water-front shops, restaurants and fabulous playground.

Great vacation again in this clean well maintained condo close to beach and restaurants. Enjoyed morning visits with our dog to Java Joe's for coffee before heading out for biking or tennis. Owners have provided all the comforts of home which makes staying there fun and relaxing . Great shops and restaurants all within a 5 minute drive and bike paths outside your door make this an ideal location.
Recommended for:Pet owners, age 55+.

Our 1st trip to the island, very impressed with all the shade trees. The unit is a lower, no stairs, you can hear noise from the upper unit, foot steps, chairs moving, etc. It was very clean on entry. The unit pool was a very short walk, and very relaxing. Unit had lots of kid friendly items, dishes, books, games, etc. We mainly went to the Ocean and the pool during our visit. The deposit was returned timely. Would recommend this area to island newcomers as it has nice beach access.
Recommended for:Families with young children.

The condo was very clean and up to date. Well stocked with everything you would need. Nice pool and only a few minutes walk to the beach. Loren was very nice and easy to work with. It central located to everything. I would stay again and would recommend it to anyone.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway, families with teenagers, age 55+.

This is a perfect place for a relaxing beach trip! There is so much attention to detail here that you feel instantly relaxed and at home. The owners have thought of everything to help you enjoy your vacation and enhance you relaxation. It is a short walk to the ocean and 5 minute bike ride to restaurants and the grocery store. I will definitely be staying here again and again!
