If you are looking for space to spread out, this is the place for you. Private 3 acre farmhouse with room for your large group. This remodeled house (originally built in 1936) has a unique floor plan that is great for a large family or group. Bring your boat or RV, there is plenty of parking for everyone.
The master bedroom on the main floor has a comfortable king bed and a private newly remodeled large bathroom. The second bedroom on the main floor has a queen bed and a twin bed. Both main floor bedrooms have televisions and DVD players. The second bathroom on the main floor has also been recently remodeled.
Upstairs there are 4 twin bed and one double bed. The upstairs is perfect for the kids, there is plenty of floor space to play. Some childrens toys are kept in the toy box.
The recently remodeled kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need to cook for your group. In the dining room there is a large table with room for all.
The tv room has a 37" high definition tv with a DVD and VHS player. DirecTV with 200 plus channels and a small video library will help with the entertainment.
Outside there is room to play basketball or go fishing on West Lake at the back of the property. This house has all you need to relax and have fun. The garage has been converted to a game room with ping pong, air hockey and darts. ON the side of the houdse is a koi fish pond and we provide the food. If shopping and local attractions are more to your liking, then this central location is a great place to start. Seaside outlet malls, Fort Stevens, Astoria column and miles of Oregon beaches are minutes away.
Nearby Cullaby lake is 2 miles away and is large enough for motor boats, water skiing and there is a very nice park and swim area.
$80 cleaning fee. $50 pet fee. $200 Deposit to hold property due to hold dates, balance due 1 month prior to stay. We accept all major credit cards. A 3% handling fee is added to all credit card payments.

We have 2 dogs, 3 kids and love the outdoors. This is a great place to stretch out, run around, play and relax. Close to the beach, Astoria, Gearhart, Cannon Beach and Seaside - lots to do within a few miles drive on 101.

Great stay at the Gearhart Farmhouse over New Years' Eve!

My two-family party of seven plus three dogs had an excellent time at the Gearhart Farmhouse! It's located perfectly right between Seaside and Astoria so you have easy access to both places. We easily fit in the home, which was spacious, comfortable and clean. There's a room with a king-size bed and ENORMOUS attached bathroom, and another room on the other side of the main floor with a double and twin. Upstairs there are three areas, two rooms with two twins each and a room with a double. Apparently there are also two twins in a building behind the house! The beds were comfortable and so was the other furniture. The whole home has a nice separation of space and none of us were stepping on toes...we were very comfortable and cozy around the fireplace in the living room. We've dined at Great Wall, El Mariachi Loco and Sand Trap nearby and all are delicious, but the kitchen is well stocked. We enjoyed breakfasts and most lunches at the house, and planned a couple of dinners to make in also. There wasn't anything we needed that we couldn't find in the kitchen, and it was all in good condition. The internet access worked without a problem, and we enjoyed the games the home was stocked with. The washer and dryer were convenient, newer and worked properly, making it very easy to come home with almost no laundry to do. And the check-out intructions were easy to follow and easy to complete. We have stayed at homes that requested all linens and towels washed prior to checkout at 11 am, which is very difficult if you have a large group...not so here, where the main things expected are beds stripped so they know what has been slept in, towels in the laundry room and any last dishes running in the dishwasher, all lights/televisions off and heat turned down. Best of all, the owners are pet friendly with three dogs (very hard to find at all, let alone without exorbitant fees) and friendly in general, being easy to get in touch with and responsive when we had a hard time retrieving the key from the lockbox one evening. You'll need to get in the car to go to the beach, but the price is right and the comfort was wonderful - we all agreed we would not hesitate to stay at the Gearhart Farmhouse in the future. We've rented many homes on the beach, but this was our first time using VRBO and we had a great experience. Thanks Jules & Rick!

We enjoyed our week stay. It was private and relaxing. Upstairs has new carpet and beds for several people. There's 3 TV's in the house, if you want to watch different programs. You can walk in the field behind the house to the lake. They also have a fish pond in the backyard you can sit by. We really enjoyed the warm and cozy gas fireplace. Our dog loved the place too. Thanks!
