This secluded cabin is just minutes from Harrah's Cherokee Casino, shopping in Dillsboro, NC, whitewater rafting, hiking, mountain biking, & kayaking on the Nanatahala River, Bryson City, or Lake Fontana. Come ride the Great Smoky Mountain Railway. This cabin is a great alternative to a typical hotel & motel lodging. Also near the Cherokee Indian Reservation so you can shop for Native American Indian crafts, or visit the Cherokee Indian Museum & Oconaluftee Indian Village and learn about the American Indian culture and how they lived.

35 minutes to The Cataloochee ski area located in beautiful Maggie Valley.

This is the vacation cabin rental for you near the major attractions of the Great Smoky Mountains of North Carolina. For a romantic getaway for two, or a fun family reunion in the Smokies, we have the accommodations for you!

This wonderful 3 bedroom 2 bath cabin with a loft, nestled on 9 acres with that quiet country feel yet close to everything, will sleep 8 comfortably. Each bedroom has a queen size bed and a full size futon in the loft area. One of the upstairs bedrooms has a full size baby crib for your convenience. Enjoy relaxing in the living room with the wood burning fireplace and flat panel TV with satellite for all you TV fans. Washer and Dryer for your convenience is located in the bathroom downstairs. All bedrooms have ceiling fans. Wake up in the mornings and swing on the front or back porch while enjoying that hot cup of coffee. Charcoal grill located outside for those wonderful BBQ's. There is a TV in the upstairs loft dedicated for DVD's and VHS tapes to entertain the little ones. There is also a TV in the bedroom downstairs with Satellite and a DVD player. Full amenities in the kitchen, including a microwave, coffee pot and dishwasher, to cook those home cooked meals away from home.

Private Hot Tub that can seat up to 5 people.

This is a smoke-free and pet-free cabin.

  • What a beautiful "home away from home"! Thank you so much for sharing it with us. It had everything we needed! So peaceful and tranquil. When we were getting ready to leave to come home, everyone said we should have reserved it for one more day... next time I hope we reserve it for the entire week! The area near Cherokee is breathtaking. Even saw snow! I would encourage you though to make some statement about the very steep and narrow driveway in your property advertising. It was covered with leaves when we arrived at almost dusk, so it was very difficult to see if we were on the right path on our way up the hill. Could you possibly add something upstairs to accommodate hang up clothes? There is no closet space in either bedroom for hang up clothes. Thank you again for sharing your cabin with us. We hope to reserve it again next year and have already shared your web site with friends and other family members.

  • Our first time to Cherokee Hideaway and it was awesome. The cabin is absolutely gorgeous. We were close to all attractions and yet it seemed we were in our on world. Just us and nature. There was 6 of us and we all enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit and the deer. I would recommend it to anyone and can't wait to visit again.

We adults enjoyed the hot tub, the fire pit, and the noise of the birds, etc. Porches are great for catching up on reading. So relaxing. The comments on the road were so accurate.   • This is our first time going to the mountains! We had such a wonderful time in the cabin in Cherokee. I enjoyed sitting on the swing and reading a book. The cabin is extremely cozy and the town was absolutely delightful. It even snowed during our trip! I would recommend this cabin to anyone who want to enjoy the mountains in Cherokee.
