The Wigwam in the Sky is around 4,000 feet up in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This newly constructed cabin gives visitors the feeling of being in the woods with all the modern conveniences of home. The swing on the front porch welcomes visitors while the stone patio and screened in porch on the back give visitors a cozy private feeling. The surrounding areas of Cashiers and Sapphire Valley provide visitors with an unlimited list of things to do. If one likes to hike, canoe, swim, golf, get a massage, or enjoy a fabulous meal the Sapphire Valley Activities Center has it all.
There is something about these mountains that makes you sleep so much better. The pure clean air refreshes your soul. The cold clean water taste so much better. An afternoon nap with a good book is a great way to relax and unwind. Or a long hike up Chimney Rock will get your heart pumping. A trip to Highlands, NC just 15 miles away provides a understated elegant environment. Restaurants and shopping are always fun. Or spend a day going on a tour of all the waterfalls that surround the area.

The Unique Benefits of this Mountain Cabin
This is a wonderful vacation spot. In the summer the weather is so nice and cool. You just sleep so good. There are great hiking trails in the area. Plus we love taking a day to go see all the waterfalls.
