Villa 43 is located in a prime location on Bald Head Island. Only 1 mile from the ferry landing, Villa 43 enjoys panoramic ocean views from the living room, kitchen/dining area, master bedroom and all 3 decks. Sit on the sofa and watch the dolphins frolic in the water and patrol the ocean's edge.
Villa 43 is steps away from both the beach access and the Bald Head Island Club where golf, croquet, the pool, fitness center, childrens' playground and dining is available.
Villa 43 is a renovated villa which contains 2 bedrooms and partially enclosed loft (King, Queen and 2 twins) and a sleeper sofa in the living room. Two golf carts are available on site.
Club memberships are attached to the property. Bald Head Island Club (Toll Free: 866-657-7311) and Shoals club (910-454-4888). Call 2 weeks ahead to book your temporary membership by credit card.

Nice little place. Perfect for a long weekend. We had our own little alligator swimming around that we could watch from our deck. Clean. The owners were easy to deal with. I thought the house was perfectly situated with a nice view of the ocean. It was clean and comfortable. We'd never been to BHI before and really enjoyed the BHI Club for lunch and dinner, Mojo's for lunch, the Conservancy, and riding around on a golf cart! The grocery store on the island has an excellent selection. We drove around at dusk ooking for red foxes, and we saw two! I will definitely go back to BHI and would love to stay here again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

I have grown up vacationing on BHI and now my husband and I are returning to start the tradition with our three little ones. The owners were more than gracious to accommodate us at the very last minute. The villa was perfect for our family of 5 + our dog, plenty of room, the deck was truly our favorite spot. The location is so accessible to the park, great paths for little ones to ride bikes & scooters, beach access is literally across the street, the view of the sunset is by far the best on island and the places to explore are endless. Thank you for allowing us to call your villa home for 5 days last week. The memories we made together are just priceless - treasures that will last a lifetime. We look forward to returning again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This villa is a great choice for your Bald Head vacation. I only stayed 3 nights, but all the beds and linens were very comfortable. Some great ideas in the decor. Well furnished. Kitchen was VERY well equipped, probably better than my own kitchen! Very clean, ample linens. Games and movies for the kids. But the best part are the panoramic ocean views. Simply the best! 2 golf carts. We only used 1, but it was new and very nice. My only complaint, which really isn't a complaint-but I wish there were bikes. I would def. stay here again any time we visit Bald Head.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We just got back from a long weekend at Villa 43 and were so impressed. I can't say enough about the view - we enjoyed watching the sunset over the water every evening. The decor was creative and perfect for an island villa. The house was well stocked and very clean. The golf carts were both in great shape (I've stayed at other places where the carts kept breaking down). The owners were extremely helpful and responsive. I would definitely recommend Villa 43!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Had a wonderful time on BHI and the Villa is very convenient to the club, pool, golf course and tennis courts. Kitchen well appointed, owner very easy to work with and very attentive. Had some golf cart issues, but understand a new cart has been ordered. Wish the living room TV had been a little nicer, but overall can't complain - clean, comfortable - tons of linens. Sat on the deck most evenings in rocking chairs and watched the waves roll in. Would recommend this Villa to anyone. Very nice.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had such a wonderful time at Villa 43. We have three young children and being right at Bald Head Island Club was wonderful - the kids rode bikes all over the place and we were never worried about their safety. We had a great time on the deck looking at the turtles, fish and birds. The view is gorgeous and the house is in terrific shape and extremely comfortable. Looking forward to returning...Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a great time on Bald Head. Very relaxing. Took long walks on the beach, rode bikes around the island, went fishing etc. The accommodations were lovely with a nice view and breeze off the ocean. Peaceful and rejeuvenating.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

John and I had one of the best holidays we have ever taken...the villa was all we expected and more, very well stocked kitchen, lots of towels, very clean overall. The only critisism we may have is the state of the two golf carts...they could be upgraded.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway.

We rented this villa sight unseen and without knowing the owners. We were very happy with the villa and the owners' communication. The owners were accommodating and helpful without being 'in our face'. The villa is very well appointed with well maintained furnishings and amenities. It is exactly as desribed and pictured. The island is relaxing and uncrowded. I'd recommend this rental and this vacation destination to friends and family.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
