My family and I enjoyed an awesome spring break in this home! The pool and game room went over well with the kids! The pictures do not do the home justice at all. It definitely feels like a home away from home. We are ready to go again!
Owner response:Glad you had a great time. You left our home so clean the maid wasn't sure if anyone had stayed!! Thank you so much. See you next year.

Absolutely wonderful! The location was perfect for where we wanted to be, the photos and appearance are as described with the exception that the house is more spacious than anticipated. Very, very clean and organized. The info binder on the entrance table is well written on how to use the tv's/ dvd's etc. Unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy the home and area as it was intended as we were there for a family reunion and my aunt's 80th birthday so our time was filled running to events. but what a place to call home at the end of the day. We came home one evening to find the front door wide open as the wind blew it opened with dead bolt in place but the side door hadn't been latched down but nothing was disturbed or taken like our lap top, jewelery etc. , so a very safe place to be. The home owner answered all questions and concerns immediately just sorry we didn't get a chance to meet them. I would definetly recommend this place as it was close to all amenities and private enough to relax and enjoy. I think I need to visit family more often and hope that I was a good enough tennant that I can rent this place again. Thank You.

Very beautiful home with beautiful sunsets. Pictures don't do it justice. We spent a lot of time there especially at the pool. Tarpon Springs / Sponge Docks area is close by and a must see. We saw dolphins on a boat tour there. Shopping, especially for groceries is very close. Would go again.
Owner response:Deb and her family are some of the nicest people we've had stay with us. She was kind enough to send a very detailed email to me of how we can make our home even better for our future guests. Thank you again.

We had 7 family members stay at this home and it was wonderful. Tarpon Springs is a short drive away - I highly recommend the 2 hour boat cruise, it was fun and informative. The grocery store (Publix) is a short distance away. The beach was a little further than I had expected but being on the causeway and having the pool was great. I would recommend this property.

This is the PERFECT vacation home!! My family & I just got back and we are SO ready to go back. The house is convenient to everything and is absolutely gorgeous! We brought our boat from Indiana and there was a ramp just 3 doors down which was perfect and the garage was huge and held the trailer for the week. Thank you for the wonderfu stay! The Olges Family

We enjoyed our week's vacation at this clean Florida home. My wife, my 16 month old daughter, and I live in Indiana and we met my Mother there, who lives in Maryland. The house is very spacious and well maintained with what I would consider "above average" furnishings. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing our meals. The master bedroom and bath were amazing with a comfortable king size bed and a very spacious shower. The screened-in back porch overlooks the pool area and the canal and was a cool and quiet place to relax and enjoy the Florida breeze. Overall, I couldn't say enough wonderful things about this house with the exception of the pool. When we arrived on Saturday, the pool was very dirty. There must have been a bad storm shortly before our arrival because there were a lot of parts and pieces from a nearby palm tree floating on the surface and also on the bottom of the pool. I was able to find an old fish net in a storage box out back and used it to the best of my ability to skim most of the bugs and debris off of the surface; however I couldn't reach the bottom of the pool with the net. Once I got the surface cleaned off, we realized, along with the dirt and debris, there were dozens of dead worms on the bottom of the pool as well. At that point, my mother decided to call Ben. His response was; the pool is open to the elements and not screened so we can expect to have some debris and he couldn’t understand why we didn’t want to swim in the pool. He also stated; when you swim in the Gulf, you don’t know what you are swimming with. Exactly why we prefer the pool over the Gulf. He did finally agree to have the pool company come on Monday. The pool was one of the reasons we selected this house. We were expecting a reasonably clean pool to swim in and it was quite disappointing. Anyway, the pool cleaner finally showed up on Friday...the day before we had to leave. The only other concern was the gas grill, it was very dirty with what appeared to be some sort of uncooked meat and the propane bottle was empty. It looked as though someone was using it and ran out of propane in the middle of grilling. Not a big deal to us since we were able to cook what we wanted in the kitchen. All-in-all, we had a very nice time. I'd say it would have been a perfect vacation sans the pool situation.
Owner response:Thank you for taking the time to share your comments and give us feedback. We do have an open pool which most people prefer. this guest's stay was during a week of particularly violent storms which can blow a few leaves in the pool. We do have a pool skimmer at the house to do quick touch ups. The pool service did send a report and there were 3 worms in the pool. these also could have been removed in moments with the skimmer. The pool service also confirmed some of the valves on the pump system had been moved. This prevented the filter system from removing the worms from the pool. I always encourage any of our guests to call us first if anything isn't up to our high standards. We would much rather assist with any issues than having our guests try to fix things themselves. In this case it resulted in preventing the pool from cleaning itself properly. We can simply chalk it up to a miss-communication but I do thank you for your kind words regarding your stay.

We had a great stay with beautiful weather and a nice quiet neighborhood. We spent most of our time outside in the pool because the weather was so hot. We did go to the private beach but the shoreline was quite rocky so we went to the publice beach about 5 minutes away. The kids had a great time catching hermit crabs. We also were fortunate enough to see 2 dolphins swim down the canal about 10 feet from us. We had a nice relaxing vacation.
Owner response:The dolphin are frequent visitors, glad you got to see them. Watch for manatee as well.

My family stayed in this home the first week of March 2011. I found this home to be above expectations. The pictures really don't do it justice. It's absolutely beautiful, was clean and well maintained and in a quiet neighborhood. We actually saw dolphins in the canal. The game room and swimming pool were enjoyable, even though the water was a bit cold. The temperature was 80 degrees every day, so it wasn't a problem. I was very surprised by how close Clear Water Beach and Tampa really are to this home. Tarpon Springs is about 15 to 20 minutes away. If you're looking for an upscale home that's close to the best beaches, this is the place. The renting process was simple and hassle-free, thanks to Ben. Our family had a great time and can't wait to visit again.
Owner response:Linda, Thank you so much for your kind words. It was a pleasure having you stay in our home.
