On behalf of the HEARN Family, I would like to say THANK YOU for the smooth and efficient way you handled the rental of your property with us. My family loved the house and the city of New Port Riche. The house was exactly as described with no disappointments. Although we didn't use the clubhouse, we did enjoy several evenings at the private beach for a picnic supper and sunset.... just lovely and certainly 'a best kept secret' to go with the rental. We almost didn't check it out .... boy were we surprised and pleased. We also found New Port Riche to be an easy drive to areas such as Tarpon Springs and Clearwater Beach area. I would recommend your home to anyone looking for spacious accomadations and comfort for family gatherings.

This home was beautiful. We were all please with our accommodation. The house had all the things we needed for a great get away. We did not get to go to the club house because we were so busy.

Absolutely wonderful! The location was perfect for where we wanted to be, the photos and appearance are as described with the exception that the house is more spacious than anticipated. Very, very clean and organized. The info binder on the entrance table is well written on how to use the tv's/ dvd's etc. Unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy the home and area as it was intended as we were there for a family reunion and my aunt's 80th birthday so our time was filled running to events. but what a place to call home at the end of the day. We came home one evening to find the front door wide open as the wind blew it opened with dead bolt in place but the side door hadn't been latched down but nothing was disturbed or taken like our lap top, jewelery etc. , so a very safe place to be. The home owner answered all questions and concerns immediately just sorry we didn't get a chance to meet them. I would definetly recommend this place as it was close to all amenities and private enough to relax and enjoy. I think I need to visit family more often and hope that I was a good enough tennant that I can rent this place again. Thank You.

Very beautiful home with beautiful sunsets. Pictures don't do it justice. We spent a lot of time there especially at the pool. Tarpon Springs / Sponge Docks area is close by and a must see. We saw dolphins on a boat tour there. Shopping, especially for groceries is very close. Would go again.

Owner response: Deb and her family are some of the nicest people we've had stay with us. She was kind enough to send a very detailed email to me of how we can make our home even better for our future guests. Thank you again.

We had 7 family members stay at this home and it was wonderful. Tarpon Springs is a short drive away - I highly recommend the 2 hour boat cruise, it was fun and informative. The grocery store (Publix) is a short distance away. The beach was a little further than I had expected but being on the causeway and having the pool was great. I would recommend this property.

This is the PERFECT vacation home!! My family & I just got back and we are SO ready to go back. The house is convenient to everything and is absolutely gorgeous! We brought our boat from Indiana and there was a ramp just 3 doors down which was perfect and the garage was huge and held the trailer for the week. Thank you for the wonderfu stay! The Olges Family

We enjoyed our week's vacation at this clean Florida home. My wife, my 16 month old daughter, and I live in Indiana and we met my Mother there, who lives in Maryland. The house is very spacious and well maintained with what I would consider "above average" furnishings. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing our meals. The master bedroom and bath were amazing with a comfortable king size bed and a very spacious shower. The screened-in back porch overlooks the pool area and the canal and was a cool and quiet place to relax and enjoy the Florida breeze. Overall, I couldn't say enough wonderful things about this house with the exception of the pool. When we arrived on Saturday, the pool was very dirty. There must have been a bad storm shortly before our arrival because there were a lot of parts and pieces from a nearby palm tree floating on the surface and also on the bottom of the pool. I was able to find an old fish net in a storage box out back and used it to the best of my ability to skim most of the bugs and debris off of the surface; however I couldn't reach the bottom of the pool with the net. Once I got the surface cleaned off, we realized, along with the dirt and debris, there were dozens of dead worms on the bottom of the pool as well. At that point, my mother decided to call Ben. His response was; the pool is open to the elements and not screened so we can expect to have some debris and he couldn’t understand why we didn’t want to swim in the pool. He also stated; when you swim in the Gulf, you don’t know what you are swimming with. Exactly why we prefer the pool over the Gulf. He did finally agree to have the pool company come on Monday. The pool was one of the reasons we selected this house. We were expecting a reasonably clean pool to swim in and it was quite disappointing. Anyway, the pool cleaner finally showed up on Friday...the day before we had to leave. The only other concern was the gas grill, it was very dirty with what appeared to be some sort of uncooked meat and the propane bottle was empty. It looked as though someone was using it and ran out of propane in the middle of grilling. Not a big deal to us since we were able to cook what we wanted in the kitchen. All-in-all, we had a very nice time. I'd say it would have been a perfect vacation sans the pool situation.

Owner response: Thank you for taking the time to share your comments and give us feedback. We do have an open pool which most people prefer. this guest's stay was during a week of particularly violent storms which can blow a few leaves in the pool. We do have a pool skimmer at the house to do quick touch ups. The pool service did send a report and there were 3 worms in the pool. these also could have been removed in moments with the skimmer. The pool service also confirmed some of the valves on the pump system had been moved. This prevented the filter system from removing the worms from the pool. I always encourage any of our guests to call us first if anything isn't up to our high standards. We would much rather assist with any issues than having our guests try to fix things themselves. In this case it resulted in preventing the pool from cleaning itself properly. We can simply chalk it up to a miss-communication but I do thank you for your kind words regarding your stay.

We had a great stay with beautiful weather and a nice quiet neighborhood. We spent most of our time outside in the pool because the weather was so hot. We did go to the private beach but the shoreline was quite rocky so we went to the publice beach about 5 minutes away. The kids had a great time catching hermit crabs. We also were fortunate enough to see 2 dolphins swim down the canal about 10 feet from us. We had a nice relaxing vacation.

Owner response: The dolphin are frequent visitors, glad you got to see them. Watch for manatee as well.

My family stayed in this home the first week of March 2011. I found this home to be above expectations. The pictures really don't do it justice. It's absolutely beautiful, was clean and well maintained and in a quiet neighborhood. We actually saw dolphins in the canal. The game room and swimming pool were enjoyable, even though the water was a bit cold. The temperature was 80 degrees every day, so it wasn't a problem. I was very surprised by how close Clear Water Beach and Tampa really are to this home. Tarpon Springs is about 15 to 20 minutes away. If you're looking for an upscale home that's close to the best beaches, this is the place. The renting process was simple and hassle-free, thanks to Ben. Our family had a great time and can't wait to visit again.

My husband, sister in law and I came to Ben's New Port Richey home to visit area family and were very pleasantly surprised at the size and cleanliness of this beautiful house. We only wish we had more time to enjoy the many amenities the house offered such as game room, pool table, ingound swimming pool etc. The beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms and laundry room wonderful and the only thing lacking was adequate bedside reading lamps for us bedtime readers. The kitchen was equipped with everything one could want and some extras, too. We really appreciatte the efficiency and warmth that Ben showed handling our reservation. This house is lovely and in a wonderful location; I would reccommend to all!

I was very happy when we arrived. The house is gorgeous and the furnishings were top notch. I was surprised to see name brand high end mattresses and very nice furniture. The owner was great to deal with and the booking process was really smooth and easy. Pretty good bet we will be back again next year. This rental was about $100 more than we spent last time we were in the area but worth every penny. It was shocking how much nicer this home was compared to what was just a couple dollars/Euros cheaper. We booked based on the pictures and in this case what you see was what we got. I'm not one to write reviews but this one deserved it Rich

We recently stayed in this home during our spring break vacation with our one and a half year old son. The home is beautiful, large, clean, well-maintained, and an excellent spot for families. The best part about the home is the wonderful layout that is great for gathering together or spreading out. We felt the home is set up nicely and safe for families staying with small children. As for the neighborhood, it is quiet and peaceful even though the home only a short drive to a plaza with a publix, beals outlet, tuesday morning. We did notice immediately that the cost of groceries in this area is high, paying 4.99 per lb for chicken breast. This made it so cooking our own meals was pricier then we had anticipated but it seemed worth it as we ate our meals at the large table outside by the pool watching fish jump in the water and the sun go down. Very relaxing and enjoyable spot.Another thing worth noting is that even though we were there in mid-April with hot temperatures, the pool water was cold. We took a couple minute drive to the clubhouse where the pool was heated and the water was an enjoyable 83 degrees Fahrenheit. The community pool was never crowded and there was always sunbathing seats open. We did take a drive to the private beach club which is about a ten minute drive, but it is small considering we are people that like to take long walks on the beach. Also the sand was a bit rough for our liking so we drove about 40 minutes to the gorgeous Clearwater beach where the sand is soft like powder and the water is clean and clear. This beach is worth driving to, it is amazing! Along clearwater beach there are plenty of shops and restaurants and you can even take the trolley for a ride! Overall, the home is an excellent place to visit and we would highly recommend it to anyone wishing for a relaxing vacation. Huge garage, huge game room, magnificent master bed and bath, kitchen filled with all cooking needs, laundry room, screened in back porch overlooking pool and waterway with comfy furniture, and all well decorated. The last thing worth mentioning is that for some reason the internet service was unreliable, sometimes working, sometimes not so much. My husband did connect to local wi-fi network and had the same problem. This really wasn't a problem as most of our time was spent outside with the beautiful weather and the gorgeous views. Thank you Ben for the easy transaction, quick answers to questions, and accurate descriptions

The house was just excellent - it felt like a real home from home. Everything is just as described - in fact, the owners are modest about how nice it is. There were four of us - 2 adults and 2 kids. The boys loved the pool and the games room. We loved the huge screened in balcony and spent most of our time in the house out there. The owners were a pleasure to deal with. The area has a mall just round the corner with a Publix. Highly recommend.

My vacation was great, there is so much to do in this area. The house was nicer than what you think from looking at the pictures. The house has everything that you need for your time away from home. Ben was a plesure to deal with. My personal advice is to go to Honeymoon Island, it is beautiful there. The sponge docks are very neat as well. We did also see dolphins at the private beach. I reccomed this home.
