We loved our stay in Pacific Grove. The location of this rental is ideal, just a couple of blocks from quaint downtown (with lots of great restaurants), and about 4 blocks from breath-taking Monterey Bay. We enjoyed morning walks along the bay and watching the waves break against the rocks, sending spray way up into the air. The duplex is a nice size for two people, or four if you spend time out sightseeing. The patio area is very nice and private, larger than I had anticipated. I can recommend this property and would like to stay again, hopefully for a month next time.

Our stay at this property was ok. It was a great location and price. It was great to be able to walk to the beach and to some nearby restaurants on Lighthouse Ave. It was a great size for a family of 4. We were disappointed in the cleanliness of the property and a few things were not functional. We were wanting to BBQ for dinner 2 nights and found the gas BBQ dirty and no briquets for the charcoal bbq. The backyard furniture was dirty with bird droppings. The backyard was cute and had potential, but needed cleaning and attention. There was also pet hair on the couch and the blanket we pulled from the closet had animal hair on it as well. We tried to use the oven and the buttons did not work, so we could not use the oven to bake the chicken we had planned to bbq. When using the microwave, the display did not work and it caused the the breaker panel to trip when we used it to make popcorn. It would be nice if the kitchen was stocked with basic spices. Although the shower was great with a good shower head, there was mildew on the shower curtain. I felt as though the property lacked attention and has great potential. The bed sagged in the middle, but had nice linens.

The first impression of this rental is cute, however, after staying there several days I realized that the property needs a lot of work. The bed is old and saggy. The bathtub is discolored and looks dirty (however I think it is simply paint that spilled on the porcelain). The backyard patio furniture is dirty and rusty. The patio umbrella had collapsed but was not taken down or fixed prior to our stay. This made the backyard unusable. The living room coffee table wobbled excessively and needed to have screws tightened. We did, however, enjoy the location and the ability to bring our dog. With a little TLC this property could have some potential!

The cleanliness of the apartment was very dissapointing. We spent a couple hours cleaning to make it livable. The location was excellent but needed some attention to details. The remodel needed to be completed. Towels and linens needed upgraded.

This is a cute rental, walking distance to the ocean, nice size yard to entertain and bar-b-que, in the middle of everywhere. Very nice for a couple to get away at a reasonable price, with a pet. Highly recommend. Great people to deal with!! Will go there again!!

We have stayed in this duplex twice and hopefully will do so again. Clean, well maintained. Parking is right out the front door. The duplex is in the center of everything we want to do on the peninsula. We appreciate the opportunity to rent this duplex!

We stayed here in mid-Dec '08 for Christmas in the Adobes. The location is perfect & the accommodations just what we were looking for. We appreciated the fenced back yard for our dog & the close access to the beach. We'll definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time staying at this cottage. The co-owner Saeed was very welcoming and responsive. He gave us excellent tips on things to do that were dog-friendly around town. He also provided us with supplies that were missing promptly. The cottage itself was clean and well-kept. The kitchen and dining area were spacious enough to prepare and enjoy a family meal. The backyard was enjoyed by our dog. The neighborhood is quiet and centrally located, a half-block away from Lighthouse Ave and restaurants, and about four blocks away from the Bay. Monterey and Carmel are a quick drive. We would definitely recommend this place for a couple or small family, especially if traveling with your pets.

New rental. Very clean and comfortable bed and place. Few things in Kitchen and living room were missing but we made do. Really appreciate the courtesy of the renters/neighbor and the fact we could have our dog along. We would go back there again in the future. Very reasonable rates and good location to walk and drive to everyplace. Quiet and courteous neighbors.

This was a great place, indeed within walking distance of downtown Pacific Grove (which I prefer to Carmel or Monterey, two close-by alternatives). We like to bicycle so loved the bike paths in the area. Ideal for two, maybe a bit small for anything but the closest knit family!

Lots of little extras for the kids(books, movies, games) good reading material, and even treats and bowls for our dog. Beautiful setting among established and quiet neighborhood. Easy walk to the water, and a great play park for our boys.
