We had a great winter ski weekend at this Sisters home. We went skiing at Hoodoo, only about a 20 minute drive from the house, and came back to this clean, comfortable home in quiet rural neighborhood. It was beautiful. One night we had lots of bright stars, and the next we had a light snowfall. There were only three of us at the house so it seemed luxuriously large. All the appliances were in good working order, the beds were very comfortable and while we didn't use it, the fireplace looked great in the center of the living area. I'd recommend this home highly.

We had a great time staying in Sisters. The house was very well-maintained and was nicer than it appeared in the pictures. The deck was perfect for grilling and visiting with friends after long days at the festival. There was even a deer in the yard which greeted us upon arrival! We look forward to visiting again.

. Home was well maintained and well stocked. Liked the open floor plan, very roomy. The tollgate area is quiet and we felt very secure. Will visit again!

My family stayed at this Sister's home in June to attend a wedding. It was perfect. We had my mother with us and it worked out very well for her also. The beds were really comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and the living room was nicely furnished. A very quiet location. We hope to come back when we really have the time to enjoy the area. Sisters is one of our favorite places to visit. The Williams Family

My wife and I got a quick response from the owner to our inquiry and in a week left our dismal Puget Sound weather for the sunny skies of central Oregon. The home matched the photos and description. We hiked 6 great Cascade trails during our week stay in warn sunny weather. One evening we drove to the nearby Dee Wright Observatory to enjoy an Oregon Cascade sunset. We enjoyed watching the squirrels and birds in the back yard and even saw the deer in the front. Tollgate has been a very quiet neighborhood during out two stays there. While we were active on the forest trails, many people were seen walking, jogging, and biking on the trail winding through the community. Nice home, great location, and a great area for so many interests. And it all comes at a very affordable price.

My 90-year-old mother, sister-in-law and brother-in-law and husband and myself rented this one-level property recently to be close to a family wedding. It suited our various needs perfectly with comfortable beds, clean and well-appointed kitchen, and plenty of space. We appreciated quick email answers to a couple of questions we had. We'd highly recommend this property.

This is a wonderful house close to Sisters shopping. I have rented many VRBO houses and this one is near the top. It's very clean and has everything you need. The deer come in the yard almost every day. The community is really nice with wonderful walking/biking paths and a nice pool. You can go to Black Butte and pay an arm and a leg for their crowds and hectic atmosphere or stay here at a very reasonable price for true relaxation with almost the same ammenities. Then just drive to Black Butte Ranch Lodge for a wonderful dinner!

This very well-kept, comfortable home in the quiet Tollgate neighborhood just a couple miles outside of Sisters, Oregon, was perfect for our trip to central Oregon. The owner keeps the home in excellent condition, and it was a perfect retreat after a day of sightseeing, golfing, and/or shopping in the surrounding area. The well-maintained trails through the Tollgate area are extensive and provide for miles of excellent biking, jogging, or walking through the fragrant pines.

We had a truly wonderful vacation. This was our third trip to the Sisters house and we will definitely look to return. The house was very comfortable and well furnished with plenty of room for us all. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. We all enjoyed watching the wildlife, deer, chipmunks and birds. We went for bike rides around the neighborhood and sampled lots of different restaurants in the town centre. The town was easy to get to and had all the shops we needed. There is plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. We have been swimming in lakes and have been for long walks in the forest. One of our party climbed Middle Sister, a strenuous effort but well worth it. We'll be back soon!

I have stayed at this home twice and loved it both times. It is immaculate, well furnished and very light due to all the high ceilings and abundant windows. The close proximity to the town of Sisters is perfect as well as the closeness to such outdoor activities such as hiking at Red Rocks. The back deck is a wonderful retreat in the summer months and the bedrooms are all very private. The owner takes personal pride in keeping this house like new and I would definitely stay there again.

We have stayed at this house in Tollgate twice now and have really enjoyed our time there. The house is a little jewel and the owner is gracious and makes every effort to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Sitting at the kitchen window or on the back deck in the morning watching the deer stroll through the pasture was so relaxing. The house is clean and roomy with everything you could need. The living room is big enough that one group can be watching TV while another can be playing games and they are not on top of one another. Tollgate is a quiet little area of homes that is very peaceful, but, if you are up for a good walk, it is an easy (but long) hike into town. I would recommend it. We will definitely be back.
