What a great cabin! Everything was perfect. The furniture, and especially the bed was so comfy. We had the best time with all of the ATV trails that are offered at Duck Creek. The weather was perfect - sunny everyday with highs in upper 70's low 80's. A little dusty, which is where your very nice shower came in handy. We are looking forward to a little village party Saturday night from 5-10:00 pm. The food that is cooked in the smoker is awesome. Thank you Olson's for sharing your awesome cabin. We will highly recommend Cedar Haven!

What a beautiful setting and cabin. Thanks for sharing. We had a wonderful time visiting all of the area parks - Zion, Bryce, Cedar Breaks and Kolob. We also visited at Best Friend's Animal Sanctuary and loved it. We had great weather all week (a little hot at Zion - 99 degrees). Our last day greeted us with rain and a high of 38 degrees. Time for us to move on. Good bye to Utah and Cedar Haven. We really enjoyed our stay.

The weather was perfect for us - 75-80 degrees. We were able to enjoy all of the beautiful rivers and lakes with our two dogs, Levi, our boy Golden Retriever, and Apple, our girl Sheltie. Coming back to a beautiful, cozy cabin was the cherry opn the top. Our dogs had the biggest smiles the entire trip. We loved our trip and for sure will be back again!!!

Cedar Haven = Cedar Heaven We got to experience all weather conditions. Woke up next morning to four inches of fluffy powder on deck and snow showers next few days - great weather to explore Zion and Bryce - road to Cedar Breaks was still closed. Visited Best Friend's Animal Sanctuary in Kanab - very humbling - highlight was a half-day horseback riding trip into Bryce Canyon - magical!!! Lovely cabin to hang out and enjoy the whispering pines - our dog, who was leashed on the deck, got to experience her first encounter with a beautiful fox. The area is very quiet and nice to walk around. There is so much to see and do in this area that we will be back to explore more - thank you for sharing your lovely cabin.

This is such a sweet place. We had snow & sunshine-and views of all. I have rented a number of homes, and this was the best equiped with lots of special touches. The location is perfect - easy access to Bryce & Zion. Comfy & cozy - Very highly recommended. Wish I was there now!

Great cabin - cozy, well-equipped, beautifully decorated and perfect location for exploring Bryce, Zion, and also drove to the Grand Canyon (4 1/2 hour drive to the South Rim). Enjoyed our stay so much.

We really enjoyed staying at this cabin. We got a little lost getting here but your king caretaker drove us right to the front door. We were really comfortable here and had a great view of a falcon our last morning. Our only regret was we forgot to wear sunscreen in the snow while sledding at Woods ranch. Ouch! We'll plan on coming back again.

Sandy and Doug, We truly felt at home here in your Cedar Haven Cabin. The stay was great and just what we needed for a little get away. The beds and furniture were were very comfortable and you have all of the accommodations a person would need. Thank you so much for the use of your cabin/home and we definitely plan to come back. We even got to see a fox come right up to the deck and snagged a carrot off a snowman the kids made! Thanks so much.

The snowmobiling was fantastic. We were very pleasantly surprised by the snow storms that came while we were here. Definitely a vacation we will never forget. Thank you!

This is such a beautiful cabin. The pictures on the Internet do not do it justice. It was so calm and peaceful. Just what we wanted. There is beautiful scenery and it is a cozy cabin. The wild turkey were such a treat to see. My husband hit it of with Tom at the hardware store. They went fishing and hubby caught a beautiful 5 pound trout. Delicious dinner! Would come again. 29 Oct 09 - 1 Nov 09: Sincere thanks to Sandy and Doug Olson for sharing their wonderful cabin. We loved the incredible views from the balcony and listening to the sounds of nature all around us. We enjoyed seeing the deer and wild turkeys every day. We also liked taking long walks through the neighborhood and admiring all the quaint cabin homes. Overall, we had a terrific time and we would like to return to Duck Creek in the near future. Daniel and Susan Farris

Dear Sandy and Doug, We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your cozy cabin during our four days here. We saw it all! From bitter cold and snow on the ground, to six deer and the flock of turkeys every early morning and early evening. We loved taking Jasmine for long walks down the roads throughout all the neighborhoods. It was very peaceful and quiet. We liked our short trips to Bryce Canyon and Brian Head/Cedar Breaks. The weather and scenery were fantastic. Hopefully one day soon we can have our own cabin here in Southwestern Utah. We love it here. Thanks again for everything and for sharing your home with us. Thanks for making your cabin available to us. I know we would not have enjoyed the vacation as much if it wasn't for our comfortable accommodations. The parks, Zion and Bryce, were nice to visit this time of year - not overly crowded. The highlight of our visit to beautiful Utah was just being able to relax here at your cabin. Thanks, too, for leaving many useful food items in the fridge, it came in handy because I forgot some of these important items when we went grocery shopping in Cedar City. Your lunch totes were also useful to us the days we went to the parks. Sincerely, Jeff and Rowena

Wow! We are sitting in the sky; it is awesome. The drive up 14 was incredible with rocks towering around us. True to its name, this most certainly is Cedar Haven. We loved the cabin as soon as we opened the front door. Our first night we were welcomed with an all familiar thunderstorm, complete with lightning and hail! We felt cozy, safe and warm inside the Haven and much like being back in Wisconsin. As we visited the many beautiful national parks and monuments we have found that the storm is the only thing like Wisconsin. This is an amazing land. We will spread the word back home. Your attention to detail for travelers will make your investment successful. Know that providing your rental property to others enables us to experience priceless memories. For this we are truly grateful!! Beth Bellante and Jim Shannon

We had a little difficulty finding Cedar Haven cabin in the dark, but it was worth it. It is very well-equipped. It is so close to so many nice parks, sites. And we totally enjoyed the quietness of this location. We enjoyed watching the birds, turkeys and deer. We went to Cedar Breaks, Bryce and Red Canyon hiking. Zion was very hot - 98 degrees - but all beautiful! It was nice and cool here. We are pleased that the kitchen is well-equipped and the heaters are quiet. Zoltan, Elizabeth, Betty and Marika

We enjoyed every single moment in this charming, cozy cabin. It is a delightful place to stay! Mitch and I take my cute little Mom on a getaway every Labor Day weekend and I assure you that we will visit this adorable cabin again soon. We loved watching the birds and chipmunks play, and we really enjoyed visiting Zion National Park. Mitch had a great time fishing the nearby lakes and streams while Mom and I made Christmas gifts while taking in the gorgeous view. Thank you for everything and we'll see you soon! Had a glorious three days August 8/9/10. Lovely cabin, great views, wonderful deck to sit and watch the birds and even deer pass by. Cabin is very well equipped, nothing more could be desired. WE WILL BE BACK for sure. Duck Creek is best as a headquarters for short drives, and dining in the cabin is your best bet. There is a very handy BBQ. Buy your food supplies in Cedar City.

Wow!! What a great place you have here. We loved the cabin - especially at night - it was so cool. You have everything we needed here. While we were here we visited Bryce, Zion, Calf Creek Falls (awesome 6 mile hike) Capitol Reef, Cedar Breaks, Cascade Falls, Strawberry Point and we went 4-wheeling here in Duck Creek. We had a blast and it is so beautiful here, no matter where you go. Would highly recommend Calf Creek, horseback riding and walking the Navajo Trail in Bryce, all the Emerald Pools trails in Zion and definitely 4-wheeling. You have some great restaurants right here in Duck Creek. We enjoyed Hot Mama's Pizza, Aunt Sue's Chalet and Pinewoods Resort nearby. All had great food. Thanks for everything - it's hard to go home after being here. Troy, Sara, Trevor (10) and Blake (7)

6/24/09 - 6/29/09 (5 nights) If you look up "cozy cabin" in the dictionary, you'll see a picture of Cedar Haven. With temps in the 100s in Vegas, what a relief to get to Duck Creek. We did the usual day trips to Zion and Bryce, but always nice to return to the cabin in the evening and relax. We also rented an ATV one day. Lots of trails and great fun!!

We actually got married in this cabin! It rained the day we planned to get married in Zion, so we just did the ceremony on the porch. It was so quiet and beautiful that we were actually happy that it rained! The owner clearly took the extra effort to make this cabin feel like a home. It is absolutely adorable! We hope to stay here often.

This was a wonderful cabin - very cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed our time there very much. The cabin had everything we needed in terms of amenities. The owners thought of everything that a renter would need. We visited Bryce and the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument while there. The weather in late April is still quite cool as the elevation is very high.

It's 18F outside, with several inches of fresh snow, brilliant sunshine, long icicles outside the windows and warm, cozy rocking chair indoors! The kids love the snow.
