Ocean's Reach has done a wonderful job with the gardens, the new osprey bird's nest on a high pole so we all can view, the Grove or picnic area with three grills, five tables palm tree lighted and pavers with beautiful flowers surrounding it. It certainly makes your grilling enjoyable. We have also added with the cushioned dining set and chaise lounge on the lanai to make your viewing and meals very comfortable. Watch the sunrise come up while having your morning coffee and see the dolphiins swim in for breakfast. We enjoy the beauty of Sanibel.

Condo is well equipped, nicely furnished, and spotless. Lanai gives perfect views of gulf and plenty of padded furniture to relax and enjoy the view or a meal. The condo is ideally located on 2nd floor and near steps and elevator. Drop down to 1st level and you are a few steps away from the beach. Beachfront pool is nice too. Having a covered parking space as well as a locked storage room makes it easy to store beach chairs, umbrellas,etc. The Ocean Reach is well maintaned and full of plants, palm trees, and flowers. The beach at Ocean Reach is very nice. Plenty of room, warm waters, and daily dolphin visits. We could not have been more pleased with the condo, the complex, and all that it offers. Georgia is a very responsive and helpful host. Thank you for making your lovely condo available for our vacation. We plan to be back in the future.

Wonderful condo! This was our 9th trip to Sanibel, but 1st at Ocean's Reach. Loved the beach, pool, bikes, shuffleboard and gorgeous weather! 80 degree temps and sunshine all week! Interesting sea creatures - dolphins jumping,and plethora of fish outside the edge of the water. Fantastic ocean views from the lanai. We will definitely return next year! Can't wait! There is no place like Sanibel Island and we look forward to our 10th visit next March!

Owner response: We are happy you enjoyed the views from the condo. The sun is rising now as, I write like a big red ball up out of the peaceful blue green water. Because, Sanibel is an East-West Island, you can also see the sunset on the beach in the winter months. In April, we drive down to Captiva to watch this on the beach with many others who enjoy. The bikes are available on site to rent with bike paths all over the island. Enjoy also Ding Darling for the wild life, the many different birds and alligators.

We loved you condo - the view, sunsets and sunrises -all wonderful. We finally got to the Shell Fair this year - it is incredible! We loved biking to the pier and the temp of 80 degrees was ideal. From an NH resident, this is not too hard to take especially since we left the snow, ice, and super cold temps for Sanibel. Hopefully, we will be back next year. I just loved the comfortable lanai furniture and enjoyed lunch out there daily. Dennis and Madeline Manchester, NH

Sunrises and Sunsets are beautiful. Shells galore! Biking around the island was great. Trips to both Ding Darling and the Shell Museum are a must. Also Captiva is a great day. Golf at the dunes is great (bring a lot of golf balls and watch out for the gators).Thanks for sharing your slice of heaven. Jane and Joe, Latham, NY

wir (Familie mit 2 Kindern) haben wunderbare Tage auf Sanibel verbracht. Die Wohnung war gut ausgestattet und sauber. Wir haben immer auf unserem Balkon gegessen und dabei die Aussicht aufs Meer genossen. Der Strand war nicht überfüllt und wir haben viele Tiere gesehen.

Sanibel Paradise

Dolphins, pelicans, and red shouldered hawks were right outside our screened lanai as we had breakfast each morning at this wonderful, beautifully furnished and equipped one bedroom condo right on the Gulf. The beach is gorgeous and a delight for shell seekers, the pool is immaculate and warm, and Sanibel Island is a very special place.The natural wildlife is spectacular,there are miles of bike trails,and everyone we met was especially friendly and helpful. The owner, and the onsite managers were extremely accomodating.We would highly recommend this property-we miss the sunsets already!

Oceans Reach 19 steps to the beach!

We stayed in this condo for 8 nights and enjoyed it tremendously. Coming from the UK to Florida for the first time was a real adventure. This condo was perfect for us. The location was ideal. The views from the lanai were stunning. We sat looking at the sea at every possible time of day. We were comfortable and felt at home with all the amenities available to us, both in the condo and around Ocean's Reach. We walked along the beach collecting shells and went swimming in the ocean. The wildlife is amazing. The flowers in the gardens are bright and colourful. At night it is so quiet and everyone respects the rules. Cycling along on our rented bicycles, to the shops to buy our provisions became a daily routine and was fun. Visits to the Ding Darling nature reserve is recommended. The supermarkets are great, either Bailey's or Jerry's. We would recommend this condo and would love to return.

They really learned about the wild life, the Ding Darling Preserve, and the nearby supermarkets all by using the bikes for rent right at Ocean's Reach. The shelling is fabulous and to see people out at night with flashlights looking after the low tide is wonderful. It is one of the 10 best shelling beaches in the world. You can also bike to the Tarpon Bay Marina and the Sanibel Marina to enjoy some wonderful boat tours of the back bay; some are fishing tours for a day or afternoon. The restaurants nearby are also fabulous and can be easily reached by bike as well as the movies and theatre. Welcome to the beauty of Sanibel. Georgia and Bob

New favorite place to stay!

We previously vacationed on the Panhandle but have found a new favorite place to stay on Sanibel Island at Ocean's Reach. We celebrated our fortieth wedding anniversary while we were there. Our condo was just perfect for the two of us. It was clean and well equipped. We enjoyed breakfast on the lanai each morning and then headed to the beach. Access to the beach was so easy, especially since I am handicapped and used a beach wheelchair. Having beach chairs provided and a locked storage area under our carport was a real convenience. The on-site staff was helpful in every way. I guess the only thing that we didn't like is that we couldn't stay longer - a mistake we won't make again! Hopefully next time we can stay at least ten days! We highly recommend this unit!

Ocean's Reach

We stayed here for a week in early March. The weather was a perfect 86 degrees and sunny every day and the condo was just a wonderful place to relax, unwind, and rejuvenate after a long, cold winter up in central New York. We have stayed other places on the island but then we discovered this hidden gem 20 steps from the beach and ocean. We rode rental bikes all over the island-to the grocery store, Ding Darling (wildlife refuge), out to Captiva stopping at the Lazy Flamingo on the way for lunch. Yum!! After dinner, we sat on the beach every evening to watch this exact sunset pictured above. Just remember to bring some bug spray...the no see em's did have a light snack on us while we sat! The shells are, as always, amazing. It is interesting how on different days the variety of shells seems to change. No matter how much we would say we weren't going to pick up any shells on our walks along the beach we always stopped and "stooped" for just that most interesting specimen! The condo was well equipped, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen had lots of amenities to make that evening meal just right. The double set of couches in the living room gave each of us a spot to stretch out and read. The lanai was perfect--we sat for hours out there watching the world wander by, including lots of sea birds and dolphins. The pool and surrounding common areas are quiet, clean, well-maintained and the management friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back to visit Sanibel Island, and this is where we will be staying!

The walking, resting and shelling on the beach bring another dimension to life and unwinding. Enjoy the beautiful sunsets and sunrises as Sanibel is an East West island. It is also the reason it catches so many shells. Enjoy to all the comforts of home in the condo as you both can stretch out on the two sofas. The padded furniture on the lanai makes beach watching all the more comfortable.
