The state's largest snowmobile trail system is accessed directly across the river. Boat up the river to a rope swing and enjoy nature's wildlife wonderland. Canoe and fetch your own wild rice. Or boat to over 10,000 acres of big water on Big Sandy Lake. Big fish, did I say really big Walleye, Crappies, Muskie and Huge Duck hunting and Grouse population and loads of deer to see. Plenty of waterfront bars and restaurants to enjoy!

Lofted bedroom with authentic log bed, 2 bedrooms on walkout lower level with full beds. Attached sleeping quarters with 6 individual log beds above the garage for group privacy. State of the art kitchen, heated attached garage with floor drains. This wonder was built in 2007 and has all the amenities you desire including a claw foot bathtub!   • Are you kidding me! This place is absolutely gorgeous, and exceeded all expectations. The view of the river in the morning is breathtaking. I am not exaggerating when I say it rivals some of the best views in Minnesota, or Montana for that matter. The cabin has all the amenities you would expect to find in a home -- except they're nicer (in my case, anyway!). We brought two dogs, and they had a blast running around the lot and by the water. (You would never know by the smell that the cabin is pet friendly.) The town bars are very quaint, and have the coldest beer served in Minnesota. It was an all around great weekend. I can't wait to go again.

  • This cabin was simply beautiful! Right when I walked in the door I knew I was in for a relaxing weekend. We had a large group of people and there were beds for everyone...and the beds were comfortable too. Sitting by the fireplace was wonderful and another great gathering spot was around the island in the kitchen. If you're looking for a great waterfront getaway, this is the cabin to rent!
