Cabarete and the Dominican Republic offer the most varied adventures and best value of any Caribean destination bar none. I have been coming to Cabarete and exploring the DR since 2001 when I came here to learn to kitesurf. The locals are very kind, friendly and dont care if you cant speak Spanish. They are willing to help you if you want to learn!

We had a wonderful time! The condo is fantastic. Very spacious and comfortable, with practicaly all the amenities. The pool was wonderful. The neighbours fantastic. And the beach is the most spectacular beach we have ever seen. Everyday, we walked miles of soft white sand and watch amazing kite boarders play in the surf. The local amenities are plenty and very inexpensive. Great resturants and bars, shopping, grocery stores etc. There are lots of local attractions, but we were so taken with the beach that, on this trip, it was hard to give up time away from the beach to explore. Next trip.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Wow, the photos made us think this would be a nice condo. but we were blown away by the size and beauty of the condo., complex and the whole town of Cabarete. The kitchen is bigger than mine at home, although only a countertop oven it was perfect for our needs and I cooked in at least every 2nd night. The huge vaulted ceilings were wonderful, the place was clean and well maintained. The owner was very helpful with information re. the town and kitesurfing and the manager of the property was extrememely nice and helpful. We would definately recommend this property to anyone. Restaurants and clubs are about a 3 min. walk down the beach, as well as shopping and at least 3 different tourist operations offering many activities to do on the Island. We couldn't believe the "Happy Hour" deals how reasonable and tasty they were. We were pleasantly surprised, for the price we didn't realize we would get such a luxury condo.
