This newly remodeled home is located at the bottom of Signal Mtn. on 3 private acres. Enjoy the view of the mountain or sit back and watch the rabbits play.

Within a beautiful 5 minute drive, you'll enjoy shopping at Northgate Mall, Hobby-Lobby, Marshall's, Wal-mart, Kirklands, TJ Maxx, Old Navy, CVS, Walgreens and more. (Hamilton Place Mall, Tennessee's largest mall is only 20 minutes away.) Also within 5 minutes, you'll find many great restaurants including Outback Steakhouse, Logan's Steakhouse, Olive Garden, Ruby Tuesday's, Chilli's, Ol' Charley's, Applebee's, Red Lobster, Longhorn Steakhouse, Chik-fil-A, Taco Bell, Wendy's, Sonic, Zaxby's and many more.

Beautiful downtown Chattanooga is 15 minutes away and offers the TN. Aquarium, the Children's Creative Discovery Museum, Historic horse and buggy rides, The Walnut Street walking bridge over the TN. River, Hunter Art Museum, The Riverwalk, Chattanooga Choo-Choo, the Chattanooga Zoo, Coolidge Park and Carousel Ride, and the Chattanooga Ducks shuttle bus which will drive you off the streets of downtown Chattanooga and across the river to even more unique shops and restaurants.

With a short scenic drive, you can visit state parks, historic parks and battlegrounds, including the famous Chickamauga battleground. Visit the cannons at Point Park on nearby Lookout Mountain. While you're there, see Rock City and Ruby Falls. Ocoee River rafting is 45 minutes away. Atlanta, GA is 1-1/2 hour away.

Chattanooga Countryside Cottage offers everything you need to relax, including a quiet, serene, safe atmosphere and all necessary amenities, including linens, a large laundry room for storage, kitchen accommodations and a helpful book of directions, information and coupons to nearby attractions and restaurants. This 1200 square foot home has a great layout which makes it feel spacious. The master bedroom offers an extra large walk-in closet and a Select Comfort Bed with dual controls so you'll be sure to get a good night's rest. The romantically decorated guest room includes an armoire, beautiful antique vanity and full bed. The large, open living room includes a queen, deluxe mattress sofa bed with TV viewing adjustment. The sun room has windows all around with blinds for shade, a daybed and a hidden trundle bed.

  • We rented the Chattanooga Cottage in December 2008. We had a small family get-together for Christmas. Several family members live in the area and some just happened to be coming to town for UT-Chattanooga commencement. We had a wonderful time. The cottage was perfect for our needs. The two bedrooms were just the right size for us and our two teenage daughters. Another family member slept one night in the sunroom. The living room was the perfect size to get the whole family together for a small Christmas party. The kitchen was a perfect size and the parking area at the rear of the home was roomy enough for several vehicles. The cottage was immaculate. The owners emailed several times before we arrived and followed up after we left - they were very accommodating and very friendly. We would love to stay again - everything was a wonderful experience.

  • We stayed in this lovely cottage for three days and had a wonderful time. It was as good s being home. The cottage was spotless and decorated in such a charming way. We were thrilled that the cottage was so close to all the attractions, but still in the country. We will definately come back next year. We did nto get to see everything in just three days.

  • This cottage was a perfect site for our needs. We have 2 kids and we met my parents, who drove from Indiana, at this half-way point for both of us. Grandma and Grandpa had a room, mom and dad had a room, and the kids used the sunroom. Our dog is part border collie so she can never get enough running, ball chasing, frisbee catching...until now! So much property. The patio was the perfect place for a kiddie pool that we brought - the kids were in it every day...sometimes twice. We also spent time every day at the Children's Museum which is so easy to find. We made almost every meal in the kitchen. It was well stocked with dishes and utensils and the entire cottage was spotless when we arrived. Crystal was so helpful in her communication before the trip. She went out of her way to tell us about places and events that we should check out during our trip and left directions for our specific needs in the cottage when we arrived. I can't think of anything we would change about our visit - it was fantastic.!

  • This cottage was wonderful! It is very quaint, yet has everything you could need. Located in the country , but close to attractions. The hiking was superb! The area is very peaceful, and beautiful. We are so glad we found the cottage and hope to re visit it in the future!
