This house is everything listed and more!!!!! The 11 of us had the best time we could have had in this clean and fully furnished in all respects - home away from home. Kerry was very accomodating to our wanting to stay an extra day because we were having so much fun. All amenities that anyone could want on a vacation - beach front with a pool - fantastic sunrises and sunsets. WE have already called to see when we can book in the next few weeks again - we already want to go back!

Recommended for:Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a great time. We loved the house. We came down with another family and they stayed in the east unit. Our only regret is that we rented both sides, this house is so big we could have all stayed on one side. My advice is do not go to Destin during peak season unless you have a whole day to spend. The whole time we were gone we were wishing we had stayed at the house!!! We enjoy all the local restaurants. Our favorite was Yiannis. Hope your stay is as great as ours!!!!

New Year's Day 2009 WOW! What a way to celebrate the arrival of a new year! Incredible facility, just the right mix of kid and adult fun. The natural beauty of the setting is amazing. The sunsets we were treated with will not ever be forgotten. A great place for a family to get together and re-connect. Everyone wanted to come back next year and I can't imagine coming anywhere but Buena Vista Villa!

Our extended family from Michigan, Texas and Florida so enjoyed our annual Thanksgiving week together. We were all spoiled by such wonderful accomodations. Comfy beds, awesome kitchens, breathtaking views, sunsets and beach. Wonderful memories were made once again.

A big thank you to the owners for sharing their beautiful beach house with us. We have been coming to this area for our family vacatins since the mid nineties and this place is our favorite! It has been an unusual week because of the tropical storm "FAY" but the weather was great until our last two days. We all enjoyed watching the storm blow through and luckily, no great damage was done! Thanks again for sharing your home. We hope to spend future beach days right here!

These are our last minutes here, and boy it's hard to leave! We really envy you people who are now on your way to Buena Vista Villa. Don't miss the dolphins playing right in front of your terrace, but mind - you will have to get up at 6AM to see them - worth it! This is the best house and best beach we've ever been to. Food lovers go to Criolla's for the best creole food on the planet and to Hurricane Oyster Var to sample some of the best Appalachicola Oysters around. We have been coming to this area for years now and can honestly say this house is among our favorites! The house was perfect for our needs. The kids especially loved having their own bunk beds! The beach time was great with the exception of a couple of rainy days, which we used to shop and see a movie. Yanni's, The Smiling Fish and the Back Porch were among our favorite restaurants. Thanks again for the beautiful beach house! It has truly been a wonderful week!

Look no further - this is heaven! Our family of six rented unit A of the Surf Serenade in the summer of 2008. We stayed for 2 weeks and couldn't have chosen better. The house is right on the beach, a pretty much deserted one, so you feel You have Your own, private strip of sand. The house is immaculate, the views absolutely amazing and Kerry, the owner will go to any lengths to make Your stay a memorable one. We arrived from Poland after 28 hours of connected flights to find Kerry welcoming us at the airport. She took us to the house and to our great relief the fridge was fully stocked complete with a keylime pie;))) No high rise buildings around, just peace, quiet and the occasional dolphin playing in the sea at dawn. Thank You Kerry for making our stay so great!

If you are reading this, you already know.....we had a wonderful time! We rented both sides of the house and had a fabulous time! FUN IN THE SUN Favorite times included: Shell Island, swimming with the dolphins at GulfWorld, searching for sand crabs by flashlight at night and watching dolphins from the back deck. WHAT A WEEK! We don't want to leave.... What a fantastic time we had at the beach house. The weather was absolutely perfect and the house is absolutely amazing. Our children had a wonderful time and both of my girls, ages 3 and 4 learned how to swim in the pool, so this will always be a special place to our family. We would like to take the opportunity to say thank you for oening up this beautiful beach house and make it available for others to experience. It's extremely difficult to pinpoint a favorite spot to sit and relax because there are so many wonderful areas and views. Taking a shower outside on the beach side early in the morning and sunrise before the other house guests wake up is highly recommended to future guests. Anyone who would like to ge out and about, listen to great live music, etc. may want to check out "The Fish House" Relaxing in the pool was so wonderful during the day and for those who enjoy an evening dip - it retains some of the suns warmth long after the sun has gone down. Thanks again, we were able to bring family together from the Mississippi Gulf Coast and from Lake Mary, Florida, eet here in the middle and create many memories that will last a liftime. We've already booked for a re-visit in September.
