Designed by architects Palmer and Krisel (Dan Palmer / William Krisel) who built the “Alexander Homes” in Palm Springs and Los Angeles. It has been meticulously restored by the owners to give you a classic 1960s Vegas experience with contemporary Modern updates where appropriate. 1700+ square foot interior features high sloped gold glitter ceilings. Front overhang allows you to have the windows wide open and maintain COMPLETE privacy from the street.
The home is fully furnished with Mid Century Modern furniture, including designer pieces such as George Nelson, Modernica, Eames, Bertoia, bullet planters, etc., and unique period treasures.

Large glass sliders open up to private walled backyard featuring a huge custom in-ground pool is long enough for laps and includes a 10 foot tanning ledge (Inspired by the Delano Hotel in South Beach, Miami) where you can actually sit in a chair in the pool! Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
Paradise Palms was built in 1963. It was developed by Paradise Development Company and Irwin Molasky Homes. The homes were designed by Palmer and Krisel (Daniel Palmer and William 'Bill' Krisel), the architects who designed the Alexander Homes in Palm Springs. They designed wonderful homes with great energy and Feng Shui!
WHY NOT LAS VEGAS? Las Vegas is a world class vacation destination... The famous sight seeing for miles of the Las Vegas Strip, the variety of shopping is unbelievable, incredible casinos, Cirque du Soleil shows, pop culture dance clubs, nearby ski resort, mountain hiking at Red Rock, Modern Wonder of the World - Art Deco Boulder Dam, and many nearby state and national parks! Fine restaurants, public and private golf courses, tennis courts, swimming, horseback riding, hiking, biking, gyms, amusement rides, roller coasters, Imax theater, Neon, museums, botanical gardens, desert landscape parks are all nearby. The Caddyshack owners previously restored and successfully created a Historic Landmark nomination in Los Angeles: “The Foster Residence” a 1964 Joseph Eichler Home designed by A. Quincy Jones and Frederick Emmons. This home was seen in TV commercials, fashion advvertising, CSI tv episodes and the Joel Silver movie "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang." So when they came to Vegas to restore this vintage home - they knew what they were doing!
Together they were founding members of the Las Vegas Atomic Age Alliance preservation group which was modeled after the Los Angeles Conservancy and Palm Springs Modern Committees.
They also run "LottaLiving.com" an online community for fans of Mid Century Modernism across the country.
In addition to being passionate about architecture, design and history, the owners are also devoted to health and wellness. They have been vegetarian for over 15 years with the last 5 of them being raw vegan. They love to open up their home to other seekers of health. They are also willing to accommodate stricter budgets for fellow raw foodies as needed. Please mention this paragraph when making an inquiry.
