(transcribed from the Guest Book at the property) We had a fantastic time during our vacation/brother's wedding celebration in Santa Barbara, and much of it had to do with the great house we rented from Paradise Retreat. The "historic downtown retreat" was perfect for our group of brothers and sisters. The house was very pretty and accomodating to all of our needs. The beds were comfortable, the upstairs tv room was spacious for afternoon relaxing, and our favorite part, the deck off of the upstairs rooms was peaceful and perfect for evening drinks. We truly enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it to others who are looking for a comfortable place close to downtown, the beaches and the zoo. Thanks again!

The kids loved "Kid's World" at Alameda Park just 3 1/2 blocks away. They loved watching movies on the big screen TV in the media room. All of us had fun on the upstairs outdoor patio. We enjoyed many fun family meals and the fireplace on those chilly mornings. We hope to come back on another family trip in the future.

Loved evenings out on the upper deck and late nights in the media room. The location was ideal - we especially enjoyed the park just a couple of blocks over on Garden Street (the kids were there several times a day!). We've already stolen several ideas to use on our new house. (Should you ever decide to sell, please call us first!) The weekend was full of so much love from family and friends. Our little kids loved the house (so much better than a hotel room). The house is so well done and decorated so nicely. Having both houses to do a little graduation get together was great. This is a trip our family will definitely remember. I would love to come back to do the same thing. Thank you for the great experience!
