Watch the waves crash against the sand from our deck. Or take a short walk to the beach. It is easy since our home is less than a minute's walk to the beach. PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS MONTHLY RENTAL ONLY - There is a minimum 30 day rental as required by the zoning laws governing this property. So if you enjoy being first on the beach shelling or love to sit on the beach watching the sun rise, our home is for you.
Inside is bright and open and perfect for a large group. The big kitchen has an island plus a breakfast bar with bar stools. There is even a pantry and plenty of cabinet space for those items from your home. The dining room table has a built in leaf so it easily seats 6 adults and is ideal for late night games.
We also have a wonderful wraparound deck from which you can see the ocean if you choose to sit outdoors and eat or just relax with a book. Since we just purchased this home it is fully equipped with everything new from the kitchen utensils, and linens to the 64" big screen TV complete with cable and DVD/VCR. You will be one of the first families to rent our home.
There are two separate levels to our home which make it ideal for two or more families to share. The second level Main Floor has three bedrooms. The Master Bedroom has a queen-sized bed and its own private bath. The middle bedroom boasts two twin beds and the third bedroom has a full-sized bed.
The lower level First Floor has its own separate entrance. This newly added lower level has its own living area complete with a set of bunk beds and a new 36" TV. There is also a full bathroom and a bedroom with a queen size bed and a twin size bed. The bathroom even has a jetted tub just incase you work to hard sunbathing or fishing! Both levels have plenty of floor space to accommodate air mattresses or sleeping bags for your friends who decide they want to come on vacation with you!
There is an outside shower located by the entrance to the lower level to help rinse off the sand. Plus there is a utility room with a washer and dryer should you need to do laundry.
Occasionally, we will allow a well behaved pet. This will be on a case by case basis with prior authorization and deposit. However, due to the fact that we have an asthmatic child, smoking inside our home is not allowed.
There is room to park four cars in the driveway but please note that all boats and watercraft must be parked fully in the driveway attached to your automobiles. If you need a place to store your boat you may park it at the Port Aransas Municipal Marina for five days at no charge ($2/day after that). Contact the Harbor Master for more details.
