Want to feel as if you’re really away? Located across from Yal-Ku Lagoon, Casa Savasana is a quiet and private jungle style house with a warm yet comfortable atmosphere. The colors used are rich and earthy, inside and out. The gardens around this 3000 sq ft house are edged with a path lush with tropical plants. There are 3 bedrooms in the main house and a separate cottage to accommodate a total of 8 people.
The entrance has a sitting area under a traditional palapa roof. French doors opening to the main entryway are bold and beautiful stained glass. This main level has 2 air conditioned bedrooms and a bathroom. The Master has a king sized bed and French doors that lead to a private patio. The guest bedroom has 2 double beds.
A stairwell takes you to the second level and opens into a large open living room. Windows encircle this area making it very bright. It’s furnished with couches for comfortable lounging by the TV which has a VCR and movies. The dining table, suitable for 8, looks out over the gardens.
Tucked behind the living area is the kitchen complete for your cooking needs. There is a bathroom on this level and another stairwell leading to the third floor. Here you’ll find another bedroom with fantastic views of the jungle and Yal-Ku Lagoon. This canopy room is quaint surrounded by windows. Its private, bright and colorfully tiled, also lined with built in couches.
Along the path to the main house is an air conditioned cottage which can accommodate 2 additional people. It’s furnished with a double bed and equipped with a kitchenette, bathroom and private patio. If peace and solitude is what you seek, come to the resting place that Savasana offers! |
